Welcome to Healing Asana. I’m Leola. The spirit behind it. Healing Asana was a concept that had evolved out of my life’s path. The Healing Asana method focuses of creating a safe, supportive and inclusive space for practitioners to tune into themselves. My goal is to provide safe, healing spaces whether this is in an hour session, over a block of sessions or at a retreat. My system combines yoga philosophy, psychology and medical knowledge. I marry this with traditional wisdom, particularly from the West African traditions. With this mix I aim to facilitate holistic and integrated healing. The techniques I use come from my yoga teacher training my psychology degree and my current medical practice. I am a practicing medical doctor in the U.K. I run yoga classes that use the practice of asana to foster self- enquiry and self-love.
