We are a boarding and day school and we welcome deaf students from Reception to Year 13 (aged 4 - 19). Students are immersed in the English language, both spoken and written, without the use of BSL in our classes. Our pupils thrive on learning to use their voice and the use of English is really important. English is the language of the national curriculum and of the outside world. We are a Ballroom and Latin American dance school resident in Basingtoke (Hampshire) and Camberley (Surrey) offering dance classes from Beginners to Advanced, Children to Adults, Social Dancing, Private Lessons. Our school is affilliated with the prestigous ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and twice a year we offer you the opportunity to take medal exams. Sergio & Sharon Withers Sergio & Sharon Withers Sergio & Ana Afonso Sergio & Ana Afonso Sergio Brilhante Qualified with both the ISTD and the IDTA, Sergio has extensive experience working with people from all backgrounds. In 2008 he decided to move to the UK to pursue his competitive career and become a full-time dance professional and teacher. His focus is on great technique, emotional connection with the music and of course have fun along the way. Sergio is currently in California, USA studying American Smooth and American Rhythm and will occasionally visit the studio for some coaching.Together they competed not only in Same-Sex events but were also the first and only all-male couple to participate in Professional events, challenging the notion that a couple needs to be consistent by a male and a female. As they explored the dynamics of leading and following, it felt only right to move on to the Professional field together, where they had competed for so many years. After all, if our society has developed to accept all sorts of partnerships why should in dancing be any different? They have enjoyed competing together at the most prestigious events in the UK, including the British Open that every year summons thousands of dancers across the world.

tpot: the power of touch was founded by Michelle Hammond in 2013 as a result of the UK's first in-depth research in to 'the challenges of treating clients with cancer in UK & Irish spa's and salons. After the initial research Michelle worked with clinicians and specialists in the field of oncology and medicine to understand what we could do and how complementary therapies could be utilised more effectively for those living with dis-ease and life limiting health conditions. Now an active ambassador for integrative health and lifestyle medicine, Michelle works alongside numerous charities and health focused organisations to bring the pillars of wellness front and center. Prior to launching tpot, Michelle was responsible for leading, educating and designing luxury spa, health and wellness teams and brands around the world. Building on her initial and multi-disciplined range of clinical complementary therapy skills. In addition to leading and evolving tpot (something she has always proudly called her passion project), Michelle spent 7 years curating the health and wellness concept and experiences, through design and deliverables, throughout the Pegasus Life community living portfolio - with the aim of revolutionising retirement living in the UK. She has also spent the last few years in her consultancy capacity supporting the future of workplace wellness strategies and meaningful wellness experience curation for large financial and tech led institutions. All whilst still leading her private talking therapy practise clinic one day a week supporting clients with their mental and emotional wellbeing - particularly when faced with life limiting health conditions, trauma and disease.
