For the past twelve years I have served as a very successful teacher and leader
in secondary and sixth form education, and I am now at a stage in my career
where I am keen to return to a business environment. As Subject Leader for ICT &
Business Studies within a challenging inner-city London school, and having spent
time as an Associate Assistant Head Teacher, I have acquired and developed a
range of interpersonal and transferable skills that have not only enhanced my
own department's results, but have also improved the schools' accountability and
progress on an organisation-wide level. I am a pragmatic and tenacious worker, a
confident and experienced presenter, and a creative and innovative resource
developer. As a subject leader, I work as a manager, coach, trainer and
confidant, seeing and seeking the best within my students and colleagues.
