Born To Bee Happy

I’m Amy – mummy, wife, founder of Born to Bee Happy and early years expert. Ever since I can remember I’ve been early years mad! ​ Being a teacher I am passionate about education. I just love learning! I truly believe in lifelong learning and I am always looking to develop myself – every day is a learning day. Even as adults I think we have so much to learn, no matter what age. I really enjoy furthering my own knowledge, even when it comes to studying and completing a Masters in Early Years. I also think we have a lot to learn from children, just watching them, learning about the way they develop, and how they play in the present moment is fascinating - I love seeing the theory in action! ​ I’ve been working in education and early years for the last 15 years, teaching all ages from babies to adults in a variety of roles. Most recently I have been supporting and training professionals working in the early years sector, to improve standards and outcomes for all children. I believe that the early years are the most crucial time of anyone’s life as this is when all of the foundations are laid. This is why as an early years inspector, I'm passionate about ensuring early years provision is of the highest standard.
