Gullane

Healthy habits is a coaching business that supports health and wellness. Specialising in life balance, stress, weight management, habit change and menopause this coaching method supports individuals and groups with online or in person consultations.  With increasingly busy lives we often run on autopilot with emotional and physical health suffering as a result. We are largely unaware of our beliefs, daily thoughts and our behaviours which become unconscious and therefore habitual over time and this is why we can struggle when dealing with life’s challenges and making a change. Life balance can impact stress levels and stress levels can impact physical and mental health often leading to weight gain or a lack of motivation to move. Add transitioning through midlife and all the hormonal imbalance this can bring, it's easy to see how healthier habits then fall by the wayside as mental and physical energy is depleted. Individuals may reach for comfort foods, binge on netflix, doom scroll on social media or increase alcohol intake to self soothe and stay in their comfort zone. In turn, becoming more frustrated feeling an overwhelming hopelessness leading to guilt and feeling more stressed as a result.....the vicious cycle then continues. Often individuals want to change but they don't know HOW, therefore the how becomes the greatest obstacle to success.  The healthy habits coaching method supports individuals to break existing cycles and supports change. It is a combined approach of coaching, brain science and mind body tools that builds the psychological support for lasting change and focuses on three fundamental pillars; mental strength, emotional health and physical well being, all of which are intrinsically linked.  Healthy habits - changing thoughts, feelings and behaviours one habit at a time.

London Writing School

London Writing School offers online writing workshops designed to offer some inspiration, make you think about the craft of writing and carve out some time in the day to get pen to paper.  Our paid courses allow you develop an idea at your own pace. Who are the workshops for? Perhaps you want to give writing a go but aren’t sure what will happen. Maybe you used to write and want to get back to it. Or you write, but would like more structured inspiration and a practice session. The sessions are designed so that you can make the most of them whatever stage you're at.  What do we do? We usually have a warm up exercise around the theme of the workshop, do a little bit free writing, and then there’s a chance to build a more structured scene that could go on to become a short story, or even spark an idea for a novel. If you are full of ideas we hope to bring them into sharper focus, if you’re feeling a bit creatively empty we aim to fill you up and get you going again.  Do we share work? In the free sessions we don’t read out work or share it with others. Come and experiment with no judgement. About the teacher I've been shortlisted for various awards and schemes including the BBC Writers’ Room, Crime Writers Association Debut Dagger, Theatre 503 seed commissions and the Launch Pad Manuscript Competition. I write in different forms. My work has been on stage in London, audio drama 'The Grove' has thousands of downloads and my novel 'A Company of Roses' is available on Amazon. I have an MA in Screenwriting and a PGCE from Goldsmiths University where my focus was on creativity.

Scarborough

Established in 2009, we are a small, friendly and professional school offering CPD and personal development courses for therapists, counsellors and coaches. In addition to our ongoing programme of short courses and workshops (usually delivered online), we offer a Diploma in Clinical Supervision and occasional Retreats for Therapists. As a delegate or student, we know that you will have a better learning experience when your own outcomes are being met, so we make sure our classes are small in order to ensure individual attention from our tutors. This means that our courses are tailored to suit you, and they are relaxed and informal - it's important to us that our students have fun whilst learning - and we have a strong emphasis on self-awareness, inclusion and respect. Principal Tutor Joanna Taylor is a UKCP Accredited Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapist, Wellbeing Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and an INLPTA Certified Trainer of NLP.  She also has an interest in Ayurveda and Energy Psychology.  She is a an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a Fellow member of the Association for Coaching (AC).
