Welcome to our website; we hope that you find it useful. Redborne is a very successful, oversubscribed Upper School of over 1,600 students, 450 of whom are in the Sixth Form. Over 80% of our Sixth Form go onto university and 14 have gone to Oxbridge in the last 3 years. We have been designated a National Support School by the Department of Education. We were graded "good" in our Ofsted inspection in November 2017, with many positive comments being made by the inspection team. In April, 2011 we were granted Academy Status by the government and as such we are now an independent but state funded school. With Many Roots sets our mission to be as useful as we can in the time we’ve got left to prevent runaway climate change. While our precise activities may evolve with time, we centre ourselves around this core purpose: meaningful impact. Currently, we focus on climate science and climate silence by delivering collaborative, interactive, educational workshops based on robust research. We believe that tackling this global crisis offers the opportunity to solve other ills of our times including inequality, structural racism and ecological destruction. We bring our emotions to work. We weave in how history led us here but ultimately we are solutions-focused, using our imaginations to carve out new stories. We are #OverDystopia

A true devotion to the craft stems from an intense satisfaction of turning conception into reality. I started woodturning in 2000 and founded Sue Harker Woodturning as a platform to showcase and sell quality handmade products. In 2021 my Husband Graham and I started Harker Woodcrafts as a joint venture. We use their Etsy store as a platform to showcase and sell quality products.
