Joanna Taylor & Associates

Scarborough

Established in 2009, we are a small, friendly and professional school offering CPD and personal development courses for therapists, counsellors and coaches. In addition to our ongoing programme of short courses and workshops (usually delivered online), we offer a Diploma in Clinical Supervision and occasional Retreats for Therapists. As a delegate or student, we know that you will have a better learning experience when your own outcomes are being met, so we make sure our classes are small in order to ensure individual attention from our tutors. This means that our courses are tailored to suit you, and they are relaxed and informal - it's important to us that our students have fun whilst learning - and we have a strong emphasis on self-awareness, inclusion and respect. Principal Tutor Joanna Taylor is a UKCP Accredited Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapist, Wellbeing Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and an INLPTA Certified Trainer of NLP.  She also has an interest in Ayurveda and Energy Psychology.  She is a an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a Fellow member of the Association for Coaching (AC). Joanna lives in rural North Yorkshire, UK, with her dentist husband, John, and three canine members of staff who all feature frequently in her blog, The Teachings of Dog.  She is an international speaker and has had articles published in a number of dental and veterinary publications on the subject of stress and burnout. Joanna has a passion for ongoing personal and professional development, and this is reflected in her courses, which are constantly updated with the latest research. We operate within the Codes of Ethics and Practice of UKCP and the Association for Coaching (AC).

Offering in person Embroidery and other needle craft courses and workshops in Cumbria.  Also available online. I learned to sew and embroider at a very young age, with skills passed down through generations of Irish Grandmothers.  These skills have been honed with training from some of the worlds' leading embroidery schools such as Hand and Lock and the Royal School of Needlework in London. With over 25 years of experience, I own and operate the Maire Curtis Lakeland Studio and accept bespoke commissions from all over the world for individuals and couture designers. Growing up and living in the stunning Cumbrian Lake District provides an endless source of inspiration and when I am not stitching or designing, I am to be found up to my elbows in dirt in the garden or drawing and painting. Whilst face to face workshops prove very popular, I am now offering courses and workshops online to a wider audience.  This also allows people to learn at their own pace in the comfort of their home. Now that our courses are hosted directly via the Cademy website, you have instant access to dip in and out as you choose any time you want. Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) 501 (c)(3) is a private, nonprofit organization established in 1987 by judges, educators, attorneys and citizens in Oklahoma County who acknowledged the benefits of a more literate society. In 1997, CLC established and implemented the LEAP (Learning, Enriching, Achieving, Preparing) program which now serves as the foundation for all CLC services. Classes are typically conducted at partner sites, however, some classes are currently taught virtually via Zoom. CLC classes include Adult Basic Education (ABE), English as a Second Language (ESL), U.S. Citizenship and/or High School Equivalency (HSE) instruction. Workplace Learning Solutions (WLS) and Tutor Training are also encompassed within the LEAP program. Artemis Training And Development

artemis training and development

Artemis has developed and delivered fire and rescue-related training programs for over five years. Our aim is to help individuals thrive, and organisations grow and prosper.Having created and supported the University of Wolverhampton Fire and Rescue Degree programmes in 2010, Mark Taylor and Tony Prosser, Operations Command Lead & Head of Learning and Development respectively with West Midlands Fire Service, were invited in 2012 to take on the management of the course as an independent provider, a unique proposition in the UK academic community. To facilitate this Artemis Training and Development Limited (ATDL) was incorporated in 2012. Both have a passion for incident command and the Fire and Rescue Service and were subsequently invited to tutor and assess in the command school at the Fire Service College and the Emergency Planning College. The reputation of ATDL for having knowledgeable and committed instructors gained traction and the company was approached to deliver revalidation programmes for several fire and rescue services, a product that did not exist in the UK . Further product development led to a suite of Skills For Justice Awards accredited courses including ICL 1 – 4, Level 5 Train the Trainer for Incident Command, Fire Investigation and other courses including the new Command Support level 4 programme. In order to keep growing our output, associates have been engaged, all with suitable experience, qualifications and enthusiasm, to deliver our incident command courses and the University of Wolverhampton Degree programmes, now running 5 degrees – full time, part-time and distance learning both in the UK and across the globe.

Teach Perfect

London

Teach Perfect was founded in 2016 to provide high quality, affordable educational support for students at every stage of the standard national curriculum. Our goal is simple – we want children to reach higher, maximising their talents to achieve the best start in life. Many adults, with the benefit of hindsight will often say the same thing; ‘I wish I had worked harder at school’. We are here to make sure that happens. The workplace is increasingly selective and every student needs to be ready to compete for the roles they want in life. Our founder, Sarah Eden-Ellis, is a passionate and driven teacher. Her discipline is English and she has had a long career as Head of English in Ofsted-rated outstanding schools and academies. She is also an expert examiner for Edexcel marking Key Stage 2 SAT papers, for AQA marking the new GCSE specifications in English and for Edexcel marking English Language IGCSE papers. She is a Specialist Leader of Education in the Poole area, providing coaching support for English departments in other secondary schools. Her own teaching standards have been rated as outstanding. Sarah is supported by a professional team who also have the same drive to enable students to achieve beyond their own expectations. As Teach Perfect matures, we will add more subjects to our learning programme and more teaching professionals will join us. However, we will never lose sight of our mission, which is to ensure every one of our students is taught by an exceptional tutor and their life chances are improved.
