I’m a nutrition and health coach, author, blogger, teacher and mum. I studied at Oxford University from 1999-2003 and have an MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. During my degree I became fascinated in the workings of the human body at a cellular level – how what we eat effects the genes and proteins in our body, how the immune system works and how cancer develops. I’ve always had a passion for nutrition science, I’ve been writing about nutrition and health for several years. I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2017 and as a Health and Life Coach, and AIP (Autoimmune Protocol) Certified Coach in 2021. I now combine these modalities to provide my clients with nutrition and health coaching. I currently live near Tunbridge Wells with my husband, 3 beautiful children and a gorgeous whippet called Millie! When I’m not working I love reading, Pilates, cooking, making herbal medicine and going for long foraging walks with my family and my dog. Harmony Arts was formed to continue to give the people of today the opportunity to experience the Li Family Taoist Arts, and enjoy the health and well-being that can be gained from them. The Li Family system originates from the Taoist Harmony (its’ modern version would be Nei Kung which means “internal work”). So, from our Harmony Palm for health to our Feng Shou for self-defence one can practice their natural body movement and mindfulness. We cater for all ages and levels of health and fitness. We offer individual sessions and courses through to ongoing sessions to individuals, groups, school, charities and corporate clients and events. For health we teach the Harmony Palm (Tai Chi Chuan) Short / Long Forms, Fei Chang Form (Tai Chi Fei Shou Form), K’ai Men and Tao Yin – Exercises as well as I Fu Shou – Adhering / Enlightened Hand; we also teach various weapons’ forms and their usage: Sword, Staff, Silk and Fan. For martial – self-defence we teach Feng Shou Chuan Shu – Taoist Boxing which incorporates Chi Shu – Throwing, Chiao Li – Wrestling and I Fu Shou – Adhering / Enlightened Hand; we also teach various weapons’ forms and their usage: Sword, Staff, Spear and Halberd.
