We are often called in where a business has significant challenges and have previously worked with other organisations who have failed to deliver the results required. One organisation we worked with had brought in three consultancies over the last 5 years and each time the consultants failed to listen to the needs of the organisation and tried to implement strategies they wanted to without addressing or agreeing on the objectives required. We bring in fresh perspective as our direct approach enables us to get to the route of the challenges and as we collect evidence, we have lots of conversations and observations to support our findings. Everything we do is in collaboration with the Leadership Team and their staff and this works as we have been where they are in our previous careers so we have empathy and understanding of how challenging and hard all of this can be for the Leadership Team and the people within the business. Our Story I set up Positive Qualities because I was bullied out of my last corporate job and I had a strong desire to make workplaces better. Workplaces where people could come to work and share ideas and feel safe and valued for their contribution and they never need to dim their light because they feel they haven’t got a voice. I started Positive Qualities because I felt there was a real need for it in business. The W.O.W Programme can help a business reach new targets, increase sales or achieve better customer and staff satisfaction. The W.O.W programme depends on communication, trust and belief. It’s very interactive, high energy and generates a feeling of belonging. It’s about building employee engagement, so employees feel physically, intellectually and emotionally attached to their work. We’re good at handling challenging situations and frequently we find the best results come from the most negative people,” W.O.W.programme is a business improvement programme and a process which is measurable and always has significant results. It empowers people and creates positive futures. I started by pitching to hotels I stayed in and the manufacturers of the cars I drove. I just felt compelled to start a company which I believed would be needed by these customers.

The London Suzuki Group ( LSG ) was founded in 1972 and was the first group in the United Kingdom to teach music by the Suzuki Method. With 60 qualified teachers and over 600 children currently receiving tuition, the LSG runs individual and group classes, orchestral and chamber music courses, workshops and an annual residential summer course at Bryanston School in Dorset. The group offers instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, recorder and voice. Public and private concerts are regularly organised at venues throughout London and elsewhere, providing much more than the opportunity to learn an instrument. Children and parents form lasting friendships. Parents and teachers are able to share experience and ideas. Music, and the love of music, becomes a natural part of the life of the whole family. Talent is not a prerequisite The Suzuki approach stimulates and develops musical abilities inherent in all children. Despite its sustained record of success exemplified in the many distinctions won by LSG students in music examinations, competitions and scholarships to major schools and conservatoires, the LSG’s overriding achievement is the provision of joy through music making, and the enrichment of the lives of the families involved in the learning process. The Terence Watts BWRT Institute was formerly known as The Institute of BrainWorking Recursive Therapy. It was renamed in October 2018 to better show the therapeutic origins of the process. BrainWorking Recursive Therapy® - BWRT® - was created in 2011 by Terence Watts, a therapist, author of many books and training courses and principal of the Essex Institute in Essex, UK. Like many great ideas it was born out of a moment of inspiration while reading about some experiments carried out in 1983 and later which appeared to show that we don't actually have free will in the way we usually think of it. More than that, it showed that decisions were made and acted upon by our mental processes before we become consciously aware of them. Who is Terence Watts? Click here to find out. It was immediately evident that this process accounted for a huge number of the psychological difficulties which so many people have to put up with, and obvious, too, that with some research it could provide the basis for a profound therapeutic intervention, something potentially more powerful and effective than anything that existed to date. Why we sometimes feel that we just cannot do something we would really like to. Why we so often limit ourselves from getting on with life. Why we sometimes give up on something without even trying properly to do it. Why we sometimes fear something when there's no real reason to do so. Why some situations 'trigger' uncomfortable feelings, even though we have no idea why. Why therapy doesn't always work as we want it to.

Established in 1994, Gasworks is a non-profit contemporary visual art organisation working at the intersection between UK and international practices and debates. We provide studios for London-based artists; commission emerging UK-based and international artists to present their first major exhibitions in the UK; and develop a highly-respected international residencies programme, which offers rare opportunities for international artists to research and develop new work in London. All programmes are accompanied by events and participatory workshops that engage audiences directly with artists and their work. Process and development are fundamental to us. We establish long-term relationships with artists and work with them to test out new ideas and establish dialogue with peers and the public. This level of support allows artists to confidently make a significant new step in their professional career, whether the outcome is a work-in-progress, an event or an exhibition. Over the last two and a half decades Gasworks has worked with over 500 artists from 80 countries around the world. Many of our alumni have gone on to exhibit at major institutions and art events, and have received nominations for - or won - prestigious awards including the Turner Prize, Absolut Award and Pinchuk Art Prize. Fran Carpenter is the Managing Director of Frantic Productions Ltd. Frantic was formed in 1998. A prolific writer of school music resources and Christmas nativity plays and musicals, Fran has more than 20 years' experience of teaching early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as a music co-ordinator and specialist class music teacher. Fran's catalogue of school musicals and music education resources is growing all the time, and her nativity plays and musical productions have been performed worldwide in thousands of primary schools. Fran also worked for several years in school television and educational video production. She worked as a member of the producer's team on a series of BBC's Look and Read and on a TEFL video for Pearson Education, and was a co-writer of the accompanying teachers' resource packs. She is a member of the Orff Society UK and much of her music for children is inspired by the creative Orff approach to music education. In addition to her writing work, Fran runs music workshops in nurseries and schools and CPD teacher training courses for music hubs and teacher training colleges. These courses are highly regarded and provide teachers and students with a whole host of ideas for creative music making with early years and primary children. Hi, I'm Beth. I’m a Speech and Language Therapist from Essex, UK. I'm a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, from the UK, with extensive experience working with children with speech, language and communication needs in a range of settings including schools, preschools and clinics. I'm mum to two primary school-aged children, one of whom has special needs. I also provide a regular service to a number of schools in my local geographical area. I have a master’s degree in Health and Human Sciences (MSc), qualifying as a Speech & Language Therapist in 2009. My undergraduate degree (BA Hons) is in Linguistics and Spanish. I’m registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Health and Care Professionals Council and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP). I have been the chair of my local ASLTIP group for a number of years, organising regular meetings and suporting a large group of 18 members covering a range of clinical specialisms. I’ve worked with lots of practitioners and staff in schools and preschools throughout my career and I've provided a lot of information, advice, training and support for a variety of Speech and Language topics. As well as training education staff, I also deliver seminars as a guest lecturer to Speech and Language Therapy Students at the University of Essex. These cover a range of topics, including service provision, speech sounds, stammering, vocabulary and word finding, assessment and intervention. Field Breaks started out in the Autumn of 2007 to provide a selection of professionally tutored illustration workshops in the Peak District. This followed the demise of similar workshops in the area and filled a much needed gap for people wanting short affordable art breaks in botanical illustration and landscape painting. Such was the demand for this provision that over the following years the programme has been extended to include a greater selection of courses and venues, along with a growing number of specialist professional tutors. 2020 and the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic saw great challenges to all small businesses, including Field Breaks, with courses rescheduled for safer times. This was an opportunity however for founder member Sue to think seriously about her achievements, goals and ambitions, and after some deliberation decided to pass the business on to fellow artist Hazel. Along with many happy memories of running Field Breaks, Sue is enjoying the opportunity to start new projects. With the handover, Hazel decided to revitalise the old website - "I'm re-dressing the shop window while it's quiet!" Following suggestions from her peers, this also gave her the opportunity to re-think and amend the name from "Field Breaks" to "Field Breaks Art", which lends more focus under the artwork umbrella. We hope you like it! After the extended lockdown, Hazel added a new range of on-line mini workshops in the Spring of 2021, which were a lovely way to keep connected with other artists and share ideas. From July 2021 we were once again able to offer in-person workshops so the focus was to deliver quality tutor-led courses while maintaining a level of safety, including reduced class numbers to enable social distancing. In 2022 we are pleased to be able to offer another full programme of workshops in drawing, painting, botanical illustration, natural history, landscape, abstract, and mixed media including textiles and craft workshops in batik, jewellery making, lacemaking and felting. In 2012, David Andrews, alongside colleague Chris Williams formed Mr Andrews Online with a vision to deliver better learning experiences for children using mobile technology. The journey began, as Year 6 teachers, sharing ideas and approaches to global audiences on the award wining blog ‘Mr Andrews Online‘. The blog influenced classroom practice both here in the UK and around the world and went on to win an award at the UK Blog Awards 2014 for its ‘Impact in Education’. In 2016 they won an award for a module run in partnership with Hull Children’s University. Since 2012 David and Chris have worked alongside hundreds of schools, teachers and delivered classroom experience days for children (4-11 year olds) up and down the country. They were lucky enough to be invited to present work in the US on two occasions. In 2014 they began working alongside the National Association of Headteachers to deliver courses. Interestingly, David and Chris had articles published in the Guardian and sold the publications ‘Rapid Progress for Boys’ Writing (Girls’ Too) and ‘Programming Made Easy’ to countries across the world whilst writing articles for various education magazines and publications. In 2017, David was contacted by Lee Wilson, the Executive Principal (Outwood Primaries) as their current ICT scheme of work wasn’t working for them, had become stale and didn’t allow the teachers to exploit cross-curricular opportunities. When asked by Lee “To write a scheme to wow the children and be aspirational” the Mr Andrews Online Creative Computing Curriculum was born. Since this time, David Andrews has been working with a leading Multi Academy Trust as Director of Curriculum. This has led to the development of a World Class Creative Curriculum as well as continuing to innovate in the world of Ed Tech and drive Mr Andrews Online forward. Chris Williams continues to consult with Mr Andrews Online alongside driving the world class product – Chatta, which works on the fundamental approach that oracy unlocks literacy.
