Back in 2001, a small group of gardening friends in Brighton wanted to find a better way to share their hard-earned knowledge, support the organic cause in the local area and inspire more people to garden organically. Brighton and Hove Organic Gardeners was born out of that vision, and more than 20 years on we’re a not-for-profit community organisation entirely run by volunteers. These days, we have a community allotment, run a monthly online gardening course, coordinate a calendar of events and activities and work with other community groups.  Most importantly, we want to help people realise that gardening organically is easy, fun and rewarding.  We’re sustained by our membership fees.

All of our instructors and faculty come from a strong clinical and educational background and have passion for teaching.  Jen has 10 years experience as a paramedic and extensive experience of working in both the NHS and Independent sector as a Senior Resuscitation Officer.  Jen has a passion for teaching and sharing the knowledge she has gained over the past 10 years. Jen is qualified to teach BLS, ILS, PILS, ALS, EPALS, NLS, GIC and simulation.  Graham looks after all of our behind the scenes operations and has a background in business development, logistics and operations across multiple industries over the last 20 years.
