Our aim is simple; To provide a safe, flowing class that offers lasting results: strength, flexibility and confidence. We opened our doors in July 2016, 4 years after principal teacher Kara undertook her Pilates teacher training in London. In 2018 Karen was offered a comprehensive coaching programme at Ergotonics in Scotland, with her mentor Cameron Angus- an international presenter, Master Teacher and Consultant Physiotherapist. All Body Control Pilates Teachers and Ergotonics Graduates work to a code of practice, which governs teaching standards, professional ethics and continuing education. The BCPA (Body Control Pilates Association) have a Continuing Professional Development programme whereby teachers are required to keep their knowledge up to date by attending courses and workshops regularly. For further information contact www.bodycontrol.co.uk or www.ergotonics.com Body Control Pilates® instructors are classified as Level 3 or Level 4 (Advanced Instructors), which is the basis by which GP’s and other health professionals base their referrals.
