Hi, I’m Grace – Head Coach, Chief Encourager and Productivity Ninja (yes, that’s a real job title!) For the last decade I’ve been helping people explore how they do their best work, whether they’re grappling with procrastination, imposter syndrome, control-freakery, distractions, endless emails, mindless meetings, never-ending to-do lists, hybrid working or the work life juggle. I’m naturally disorganised. Turns out that gives me a different perspective on productivity! My clients tell me I have a knack for understanding what’s going on in their heads. While I have plenty of tools, tactics and tech tips up my sleeve, my focus is always on people first. Because when you understand how you work best, you can then put the systems and strategies in place that will enable you to thrive, do your best work, and enjoy both life at work and life outside of work. I care about doing work in a way that does us good (as well as the good we’re doing out there in the world), and love working with creative, compassionate, talented people who care about being world changers, rather than world beaters.

SwingFit is a dance fitness class for the young at heart. With dance steps and music from the Swing era, you’ll forget you’re exercising as you dance along to the Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jive and many more. SwingFit began as a class for an NHS ‘Arts for Wellbeing’ programme in 2010 and it quickly grew in popularity with ladies aged 50+ due to the easy-to-follow moves with lively tunes from the 1920s to 1960s. Many of our ladies say that they come for fitness and they stay for the friendship. Although many of our members are aged 50+, all ladies aged 18+ are welcome to SwingFit. You need to be in good health to attend but you do not need to know how to dance as SwingFit is a dance-along class where you copy the teacher. Just come along wearing your favourite T-shirts, leggings and smooth-soled trainers and you’re good to go. Oh yes, and bring a bottle of water! I like to think I can offer an independent perspective. I am not bound to promote any single organisation or conform to any single ‘message’ or range of products. I have always been drawn to divergent and innovative approaches and people who think outside the box. People who are happy to challenge the status quo. It means, I hope, that I am often able to have a different focus and perspective on things, while at the same time being aware of other perspectives and views. I qualified as a school teacher and some time after gained my first Swimming Teaching Qualification. It was the early 1970s… and yes… I’m guessing you’re doing the sums! I have ‘clocked’ a lot of mileage over some 50 years!! I have worked in a number of professional as well as voluntary roles. The upside is that I have had time to consider and review opinions and judgements on a wide number of ideas, events and initiatives. I enjoyed a 21 year career as a Secondary School teacher, uniquely teaching in both Humanities and Science Departments. I have taught in London and overseas.
