The Equilibrium Network

Potton

With a passion for making a difference in various industries, breaking down racism, sexism and discrimination in all areas of the workplace, Richard Gilbert created The Equilibrium Network in 2010. His goal was to develop a team of specialists that could help businesses transition into progressive leaders that inspire their diverse teams to grow, collaborate and flourish! We now have a number of freelance specialists available to offer training and auditing services, whilst Richard is still very much involved in our C2E services, helping companies become “Committed 2 Equality” and a champion of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The Equilibrium Network also helps ensure companies across all industries are fully compliant with The Equality Act 2010 and The Disability Act 2010. We also commit to regular client support with face-to-face training sessions or conference calls to ensure they remain compliant and adhere to the criteria set out by the C2E accreditation. Over the years, we’ve built and nurtured relationships with high profile clients, including the Financial Ombudsmen, offering strategic advice to help develop the skills needed to manage equality and diversity practices in a responsible manner. Our additional services include consultancy, training, goal mapping and copywriting, so if you’re interested in one or a few of our services, we recommend you request your free Health Check from The Equilibrium Network by messaging us or calling +44 (0)1767 261160. We can then learn more about the complex challenges you’re currently facing and help you lead the way as an innovative and progressive leader.

Edlin Consulting

My methodology and empathic approach allow me to quickly build high levels of trust and understanding. I pride myself on pragmatism, and typically achieve significant impact within three sessions. I aim for a healthy balance of challenge, support, humour and honesty. My role as your coach is to enable the very best of you. Together we identify your goals, set clear objectives and develop and implement an effective plan in order to achieve them. As a business coach, I have a keen understanding of the pressures, responsibilities and challenges facing leaders and entrepreneurs. It is often observed that my professional skillset is unusual – a lawyer by training but a businessman first – armed with a strong commercial and strategic instinct. I’ve amassed +35 years of experience. I had the privilege to lead, develop and grow high-performing teams, cultivating many leaders in the process, at three different London City law firms (Waltons & Morse, Eversheds and RPC). I adapt my coaching approach to suit your individual needs whether that be a non directive approach, or even include mentoring. I am an advocate of leading coaching principles including Positive Psychology and the StrengthsFinder. These leverage my own core strengths on corporate strategy, effective communication, positivity, people development, networking, responsibility, empathy and inclusion. All of which are at the heart of consistently successful leadership, both in the short and long term. My role as your coach is to enable the very best of you. Together we identify your goals, set clear objectives and develop and implement an effective plan in order to achieve them.

Spark-academy

spark-academy

London

Mital is a visionary leader, innovator, learner and educator. She founded the multi-award-winning Spark Academy back in 2009 whilst she was teaching as a qualified teacher in schools. As a passionate educator with a strong social conscience, Mital’s firm ethos is about making quality education affordable; so that it provides pathways for social mobility and brighter opportunities in your child’s future. Mital’s own academic journey came with a fair few challenges, which meant that she went through many struggles and coping mechanisms to keep up to speed with her learning. Diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 21, Mital came to understand why she processed information differently. This is why she is an advocate of non-conformist learning techniques that will help any child realise their infinite potential. Mital shares her methodology to learning in her book “Study Like This, Not Like That”, which she has refined over fifteen years, and which earned her the MBA student of the Year in 2021 – an award out of 20,000 students worldwide. Mital not only has a unique teacher’s perspective but that of a learner too! Mital is actively looking at ways to improve the learning experience for Spark’s students and she is a big believer in research and development of the programme to suit not only children’s current needs but also to reduce the future skills gap – ensuring that all children under Spark’s care are future-ready with the skills and strategies to lead brighter and joyous lives.

Sound Matters

sound matters

London

About Sound Matters was founded in 2014, following a series of conversations between Mike Edwards (climate change and sustainability expert) and Harry Coade (music producer and soundscape recordist). These conversations, which took place in London pubs, cafes and galleries, were focused on how sound and listening could be used to create more sustainable and resilient futures. Mike and Harry discovered a unique and deep synergy between their disparate areas of expertise and began to further explore how they could apply this knowledge and insight. After delivering a series of lectures at leading universities in London, Mike and Harry began working on a number of global research initiatives, and academic courses, which were designed to discover more about how sound and listening could be used to understand the political, social, economic and environmental systems shaping the world. They also began working with a number of corporate clients who were looking for new ways of engaging their staff and stakeholders with the importance of creating business practices which were sustainable for both people and planet. From humble beginnings, Sound Matters has grown into an organisation which is widely acknowledged as a global leader in the use of sound and the art of listening to help individuals and organisations understand, and help solve, the most fundamental challenges facing the world. Sound Matters has a clear mission which is to create a universal culture of listening whereby every individual and organisation can access the power of sound and listening to create a better world.

David Isherwood

david isherwood

A qualified, experienced Mountain Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor, I was born and grew up in Hayfield at the foot of Kinder Scout where the mass trespass paved the way for hillwalking as we know it. My grandfather raced at Le Mans with Rob Lawrie, a boot maker who supplied the Alpine Club expeditions and made boots for Hillary’s ascent of Everest. Given this background, it was inevitable I’d be involved in the outdoors. I love this history but am equally excited about helping future generations and those new to the mountains. I’ve worked in the outdoors since 2006. I believe education and learning is vital and that mountaineering can be a powerful tool to develop people – whether this is a long, life changing journey or simply climbing a single peak as one-off challenge. In addition to working as a Mountain Leader and Instructor my expertise in logistics, planning & project management means I have the capability to deliver highly successful events across a broad range of sectors. I provide logistical & event support services for adventurous activities & challenges to a range of customers including charities, schools, private companies & high net worth individuals. I enjoy a range of outdoor, active sports; hillwalking, skiing, climbing, sailing, cycling (on the road) and swimming in open water. I enjoy introducing the next generation to the outdoors – through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and supporting primary schools. I’m based in Manchester and work predominantly in the Peak District, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Snowdonia, but I am UK mobile.

Loch Wellbeing

loch wellbeing

Loch Well Being is not authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Further information can be found here Modern life is tough. Day to day we encounter a whole host of challenges, both big and small, which can have an impact on our overall wellbeing. And work is one of them. When a workplace fails to address the issue of staff wellbeing, we see high levels of stress and burnout which, in turn, can cause both physical and mental health issues. But when a workplace makes staff wellbeing a priority, we find engaged employees whose work gives them a sense of purpose, a social safety net and a mechanism for support, even during the toughest times. And employers that engage positively with wellbeing at work will not only benefit from the peace of mind that comes with doing the right thing, they will also see real business benefits including increased retention, reduced absenteeism, improved productivity and enhanced engagement. And that’s not to mention the good it can do for an employer’s brand. It really does pay to implement wellbeing strategies – recent research conducted by Deloitte, for example, found that for every £1.00 an employer spends on supporting workplace wellbeing, they’ll get £5.00 back as a return for their investment. At Loch Wellbeing, we’re experienced in the design, development and delivery of wellbeing solutions and have a track record of success across a broad range of industries. We’d love to talk to you about how our wellbeing solutions can assist you and your people.
