Fire safety awareness refers to the knowledge and understanding of the precautions and measures that individuals can take to prevent fires from occurring and to minimize the damage caused by fires. This course will ensure that your staff and their managers all know what to do to maximize safety in the event of a fire or a gas leak.

Learners will be introduced to EAS as part of the fire safety solution for tall residential properties. This CPD course provides learners with an understanding of the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of EAS.

This course is ideal to give all members of staff basic fire training to increase awareness and cooperation in the event of a fire in the workplace.

Course Description: The 18th edition course is a 3 day short course aimed at anyone involved in the design, construction and inspection and testing of electrical systems, also a nationally recognised ‘must have’ qualification for companies seeking to recruit electricians. It is intended to introduce the candidate to a working knowledge of the Wiring Regulations along with a brief overview of the Electricity at Work Regulations covering their statutory duties.
