My name is Laura Obas and i'm the Instructor at the Kumon Woolwich Study Centre. My role is to support your child as he or she goes through their Kumon journey. I enjoy seeing students advance to work not yet covered in school and which they enjoy doing. I am deeply committed to my centre's educational mission to help each student reach and perform at their full potential. I am continually amazed at the work being done by the students at my centre. My interest to become a Kumon Instructor started when my son joined the programme at the age of four and immediately, I could notice the difference it made in his mastery of maths and English and his development in self-confidence and discipline. His success is achieved through hard work and I try to instil this in each of my students. I truly believe a great deal in the Kumon Method and the benefits it provides. Each student is important to me and I care not only about their academic advancement but about their overall well-being.
