Welcome to Heat Engineer, the first truly professional and international heat loss calculation software. Fully customisable, our software allows surveyors, engineers and architects alike the ability to change the language to their country of choice, set outside mean temperatures, construct bespoke building materials which will then calculate both the thermal conductivity and subsequent U values. Our software has been designed and built by engineers, for engineers. All three directors of our company are career engineers in the heating industry and between us, have over 75 years experience in this field. Our software strictly adheres to the calculation process set out by CIBSE (Charted Institute of Building Services Engineers) and we are also an industrial associate of the CIPHE (Charted Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineers). Heat loss is the one major area within our industry that is often poorly calculated and this leads to extreme inefficiencies within our systems and plant rooms. We have created and built software that is extremely accurate and can provide reports for any size and type of building, whether a studio apartment, hotel or indeed industrial centre. Hi, I am both a qualified commercial and domestic heating engineer with 40 years experience in the field. I set up an independent heating design consultancy in 2014 after designing & installing plant rooms & systems for most of my career ( www.robberridge.co.uk ) and am now fully engaged with this and my heat calculation software company with two other directors. After coming off the tools for some six years now and designing many plant rooms and systems for my new clients, I bring a unique perspective that bridges the often large gap between installation engineers and architects/building services engineers. Offering fully scaled CAD drawings, specifications and tender documents that all parties fully understand has kept me really busy and my life, 'interesting'. I also offer training courses in building heat loss, system calculation and specification to which I partner with IMI-Hydronics. My main focus is system design and efficiency, whatever the heat source or fuel type and I have no personal affiliation with any. #BeaPro
