This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively to casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing, and administering it.

Paediatric First Aid Training – This QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid Training (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).

Join me at Open Academy, Norwich for 55 minutes of Barre! A fusion of Ballet technique and Pilates Matwork, designed to strengthen and challenge your glutes, thighs and core. Class held at Open Academy, Salhouse Road Norwich NR7 9DL Please bring a mat, water and any small props you may require i.e. small hand weights, pilates ball, theraband. No experience necessary, modifications and alternatives will be given based on those in the room. Please arrive on time as access may not be granted if you arrive after the class start time.

The course covers primary and some secondary skills allowing the flexibility to add extra subjects where needed.

This medication training course covers a wide range of topics relating to the safe handling and administration of medication within the health and social care industry, such as The Medicines Act and controlled drug schedules. The course covers the requirements set out in The Care Certificate, in NICE guidelines, and by the Care Quality Commission. This practical medication administration course includes competency sign-off.

DATE: 15th February TIME: 4pm LOCATION: Classroom 2 St John Ambulance have kindly agreed to provide a First Aid Safety Information workshop to any interested Central Film School students. Areas of focus will include how to be safe on a night out, and also how to handle injuries specific to film sets (burns, electrocution, etc.) This is fantastic information to have both for your professional development and personal life. This course looks at the initial alert and the decision-making process in deciding to make a referral, taking into consideration consent and capacity of the alleged vulnerable adult, keeping them at the centre of the decision-making process. How and who to refer to and the different types of response you could expect.

This is for all workforce involved in Social Care from the health, public, independent, or voluntary sectors. This subject forms standard 10 & 11 in The Care Certificate.

The Combined Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed to avoid the duplication of topics encountered in attending separate Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid courses. It is tailored for those who work in environments that require both First Aiders and Peadiatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or childcare facilities. This streamlined approach maximises efficiency and saves time for those seeking both certifications.
