First Aid - Level 3 First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Three Day Course Cost:  £150 + vat per person Group Booking: 8 people or more £1100 (inclusive of vat). This accredited Three-Day Qualification will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. Assessment Continual assessment is used, combined with a number of observed practical activities and 3 short theoretical assessments, supported by our experienced trainers. Covid-19 - due to this being a healthcare course, you are prohibited from attending if you have contracted Covid-19. Practical Elements - in order to pass the course, you will be required to kneel down on the floor (primary survey), be rolled onto your side (recovery position) and perform 2 mins of rescue breaths and chest compressions (CPR). This will all have to be completed unaided. Be able to conduct a secondary survey. Who should attend? This qualification is for people who deal with first aid at work. Enabling them to be workplace first aiders under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This qualification is also for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities. This will allow them to provide basic first aid to people in a range of situations. Pre-requisites Students must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training. Students must be in possession of an in date First Aid at Work Certificate. Assessment and Certifications Assessment of this course is continuous and includes two theory/multiple choice question papers. Successful students will receive an Immerse Training Certificate, which is valid for three years. This certificate will be issued by Qualsafe, the awarding body for Immerse Training. Additional Information Completion of the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work includes 3 credits at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
