This one day silver bangle making course lead by jeweller Kirsten Hendrich will introduce you skills and techniques required to design and make your own silver sterling bangles. You will learn how to size bangles, how to solder, texture the metal, cut out a charm, and also polish your designs. You will be provided with all the silver required to make two stacking bangles and a charm to accompany them. This is an excellent starting project for a beginner. You will be given: Two lengths 21cm of 2 mm silver sterling round wire 10 cm of 1.2mm silver round wire 3 cm x 3 cm 0.8mm silver sheet We stock some silver, so should you wish to make additional bangles or thicker bangles, you can purchase additional silver on the day for your designs. WHAT TO BRING: For safety reasons, at each session closed in shoes must be worn and long hair tied back, we also suggest wearing old clothes. We will provide light refreshments however you might want to bring some lunch. We have a fridge, microwave and kettle in the workshop. The Institution of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH) is a globally respected chartered body that champions the highest workplace standards of health and safety.  Safehouse are proud to offer training of the IOSH Managing Safely course. This training programme is designed for any individual who has organisational responsibilities for managing health and safety risks, resources and workplace practices. Once complete, it provides an excellent foundation for further study for those looking to pursue a career in health and safety and gain qualifications accredited by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) or NVQ Course Programme and Duration The IOSH Managing Safely course takes three full days to complete and covers, in detail, the core responsibilities of anyone tasked with managing workplace health and safety. The Transforming Conversations Coaching Course will equip you with the skills to develop those you lead and support in mission and ministry. The Training The Transforming Conversations Coaching Course is delivered by 3D Coaching - a small, professional community of experienced coaches and trainers who model a learning culture of regular supervision and team development. They have worked with individuals and groups in all sectors including local, central and international government, the NHS, corporates, churches and charities. 3D was established in 1999 and is structured as a public benefit company. What 3D say about Transforming Conversations… The course is run in a group setting over two sets of consecutive days with a gap in-between to allow you to process and practice what you are learning. We are developing and refining skills. This is experiential learning. There is no PowerPoint and no back row. Everyone will give and receive coaching at least twice every day so you will need to come ready to learn, think things through and contribute to the learning of others. There are no assignments or essays. You will be given a comprehensive booklist and suggestions on how you can develop your practice. You will receive a 30 minute coaching session by 3D Coaching over Skype or Phone. This course can count as the first stage towards ICF Portfolio Accreditation.
