Unwind & Create: Join Us for a Relaxing Sip n’ Paint Event! We all need a reminder to unwind sometimes, so why not take a moment to relax and interact with colleagues at our first-ever Sip n’ Paint event? On May 14th, 2025, join us for an afternoon of creativity, connection, and fun as you explore your artistic side in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. In this session, you’ll experience: A guided painting session led by a professional instructor Refreshing mocktails to enjoy while you create A chance to express yourself artistically—no experience needed! A great opportunity to socialise and connect with colleagues Let your creativity flow as you paint your own masterpiece to take home! A fun creative workshop full of colour for any level and perfect gift! Just bring your keepsake along and discover how you will use Barbola to create your piece of art?  Barbola which was a popular technique found in the 1930's. You may have seen these beautiful vintage pieces? This technique was often found on mirrors, trinket boxes, fire screens and cigarette holders. It was originally made from gesso in the shape of flowers, fruit and leaves. On the day you will learn how to make your own flowers and leaves using moulds and how to make your piece have the charm of the 1930's! We will need any dietary requirements as a luxury cream tea lunch with a pot of tea or fizz will be served.. whatever you prefer! This one day event includes small items for you to work on and materials to create and paint your Barbola like acrylic paints. You can also choose from the whole range of paint from Sophie James Decor. You will need to bring Optional bring your own keepsake like a shoe, picture frame, hard back book etc What is included:  Luxury Cream Tea Lunch Where & When: It takes places at our workshop at Tom's Farm Shop & Garden Centre, Maldon Road, Tiptree, Essex, CO5 0QA 10AM to 3PM There is ample parking. Its peony season and London is in bloom! What better way to celebrate by creating a beautiful bouquet of gorgeous peonies? Our clients all time favourite flowers and one we look forward to coming into season each year. Come join me in the studio at West 16th SE21 where we will learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros. We will be chatting through peony varieties, how to get the most out of them and sharing lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by learning presentation techniques and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home. The workshop will be held in the studio of West 16th, SE21 who will supply drinks and snacks included within the workshop price.

This course is stained glass mosaic on a mirror base and designed for garden display throughout the year. The aim of the course is to teach you the techniques and throughout the workshop build your confidence and knowledge to complete a stunning mosaic for you to take home.

My courses are suitable for people who would like to keep bees, or are already keeping them. All courses are held at my farm cottage in rural East Sussex – do get in touch for detailed directions.

Have you always fancied learning to crochet but never found the time or struggled with online tutorials? Our classes are friendly, relaxed and the perfect place to learn. Tea, coffee and biscuits are always included and BYOB is also encouraged - we’ll supply the glasses! Come along and enjoy the basics of crochet in this beginner course delivered over 5 sessions. Class number is limited to 6. Week 1 - Skill building. Learn chains, rows, turning and double crochet. Begin your 1st project. Week 2 - Learn slip stitch and weaving ends as you finish your project. Introduction to 2 new stitches. Week 3 - Make a Granny Square! Week 4 - Make some flowers and learn how to follow a pattern Week 5 - More pattern reading skills to make your final project. You will learn the most used stitches plus lots of tips to get you started. You will discover how to make granny squares which are the building blocks of many crochet projects including blankets, bags, clothes, even plant pots!
