Super fun, interactive educational baby and toddler music classes with live guitar. Independently run by mother and son, Tin Pan Annie Music have been the award winning proividers of pre-school music classes in South London for nearly 30 Years. Classes are carefully written and designed to super-charge all the developmental and social skills that participating in a live music class can bring. Young children react in such a positive way to live acoustic guitar accompaniment when their world is so full of so much pre-recorded sound. Expect lots of familiar songs and Tin Pan Harry originals, written to introduce children to the shape, timbre, dynamics and rhythm of music which are so important in the development of language and speech. As well as joining in by clapping, dancing and swaying, the children also participate with rhythm sticks, percussion, and silly scarves, Lots of bright colourful props and puppets appear from Tin Pan Annie’s toy box to bring each week’s theme to life, concentration and memory skills develops and their imagination soars. Classes are the highlight of your child's week and often the grown ups too.

Offering award-winning pre-school children's ballet and dance classes from walking upwards. Our ballet classes for 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds are carefully designed to introduce the wonders of ballet in a playful and age-appropriate way. With our kids ballet classes and kids dance classes, your child will discover the joy of dancing, while also developing important skills such as coordination, balance, and rhythm. Join us at tiny toes ballet and let your child experience the magic of children's ballet.

Fun with felt flowers gives beginners all the basic information to learn felting around a resist. In the three and a half hours, students will make two different flowers, using different techniques, along with different centres. Workshops start at 10am. I can teach up to nine people here and I can also travel within 20 miles if someone wants a group of friends (minimum 5 participants) in their own house or school. Fabulous idea for a hen party! Please note, though, I do charge mileage. If you have a larger group (say WI or class parents) I am happy to run workshops for up to 20 people in your own venue. My workshops are not timetabled, so there is a great deal of flexibility on dates - just get in touch and we'll sort out a day to suit us both!Please also check out my other listings for Workshops in a Wallet. These classes are suitable for all students with basic beginners pole dance experience right up to advanced You don't have to have completed any of our courses to attend and you can be from another pole school

Two day 'Introduction to Table Loom Weaving' workshop in the beautiful setting of Fisherton Mill in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Learn how to plan your weaving project, dress your loom (prepare your loom for weaving), read and understand weaving patterns and weave your own set of samples from a wide range of sustainable yarns and fibres in this relaxed & informative beginners weaving workshop. All materials and equipment are provided and you will leave with a clear handout of notes along with your first pieces of weaving!

Tiny toes ballet is award winning and fully integrated with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. It is the perfect introduction to the world of dance for boys and girls from walking to age 7. Our fun and inclusive toddler and kids dance classes nurture confidence and promote educational development. With our themed adventure sessions, they are so much more than a dance class and we are so excited to share them with you! About the event We are pleased to be hosting a Doing History at University event for students and teachers in partnership with the University of Sheffield. The aim of the event is to introduce students to history at university, and how to make yourself stand out in the application process.  Sheffield University has one of the largest, most active and successful centres for teaching and historical research in the UK. It was ranked among the UK’s top three history departments for the impact and quality of its research, and its teaching is consistently rated as excellent. This one-day event will equip students with the tools to ensure that you have the best chance of studying history at the university of your choice. For a day packed full of helpful advice, workshops, mock interviews and case studies, plus sessions from the University of Sheffield history department and a chance to meet current students, this event is a must for students looking to study history at university and post-16 teachers looking to support their students.  Programme The programme will include:  Advice about admissions from the University of Sheffield Making the leap from sixth-form to university history What makes a great undergraduate historian How to make your UCAS application stand out Support for those applying to universities with interviews A sample lecture from Professor Julie Gottlieb A sample seminar with Dr Miriam Dobson A chance to meet current students Booking information Places are limited with a maximum of 5 per school.
