The Real Estate Development School is a five day course that focuses on both the theoretical and practical elements of Commercial Real Estate Development.

Our 1 day foraging courses are for anyone who’d like to gain an insight into the edible delights of the British hedgerow and woodlands. So if you’re curious about the plants, berries and fruits that grow around you and wonder which you can eat and which you need to avoid, come and join us! On our foraging courses the focus is on edible plants, nuts, berries and fruits commonly found in the hedgerow and woodland. Note that what we find and forage will depend on the time of year you come along. From the meeting point we’ll take an amble along the tranquil lanes of the stunning North Downs Way and look at common plants, hedgerow fruits, berries and nuts that can be eaten; we’ll collect some as we go. We’ll also point out any plants and berries that are poisonous so you know what to avoid. From the hedgerow we’ll move into ancient woodland and look at different plants, again collecting as we go. When we arrive at our ancient woodland camp, we’ll have a refresher on the plants we’ve collected before settling in for the afternoon and cooking them. Everyone gets their own dish to cook and contribute to the banquet. About this training course This 5-days comprehensive training course provides not only an introduction into the issues associated with the development of the pipeline transportation of CO2 from its Capture, it's transportation, storage and usage but also provides an in depth understanding of the issues to be considered in the development, design and operations of these pipelines. The theme throughout this training course is CO2 Flow Assurance and Innovative Technologies. Each training day will consist of lectures in the morning and a hands-on workshop in the afternoon. The workshop allows the participants to appreciate the design process associated with CO2 transport and its operations. Various software will be available during the workshop to predict thermo hydraulics and associated phase flows through CO2 pipelines and the attached infrastructure. Further software to assess surge and environmental safety will also be available. The CO2 pipeline design approach will consider an integrated solution through modelling the CO2 capture system as well as the host storage facility. The participants will have a total appreciation of the methodology required to develop a CO2 transportation system and have an understanding of all of the Flow Assurance, risks, and operating issues and technology requirements. Training Objectives After the completion of this training course, participants will be able to: Understand the process required and identify data to analyse Flow Assurance for CO2 pipeline transport Review and Identify the Flow Assurance issues required to be evaluated for CO2 pipeline transport design and operations methodology. Based at our ancient woodland camp in Kent, our 1 Day Spoon Carving course has been put together for anyone who would like to understand how to use simple tools to create beautiful items from greenwood. Whilst we are certain that you will leave us with a great hand carved spoon, you will also leave us with new found confidence and ability having mastered the use of the knife and axe. We'll start the day by looking at a variety of carving techniques using an axe and knife. Safety and being able to work with minimum of effort will be the main focus of the session. You will also learn to identify which strokes are best suited for different kinds of cuts. After this session you will be ready for a days carving. You will also learn about: • Properties of different woods • Selecting your wood and splitting techniques • Swedish spoon design • How to sharpen your carving tools. About this Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)  The Advanced Reservoir Engineering VILT course will address modern practical aspects of reservoir engineering during 5 half-days packed with lectures, virtual exercises, discussions and literature reviews. The participants' understanding of fundamental concepts and modern practical reservoir engineering methods will be deepened and a wide range of topics will be addressed. Topics covered The VILT course will emphasise reservoir engineering applications and include topics such as: Rock properties of clastic and carbonate reservoirs Reservoir characterisation Reservoir fluid behaviour Identification of main production mechanisms Design and analysis of well tests Production forecasting Application of Decline Curve Analysis in mature fields Detailed modeling of wells and reservoirs Water flooding Application of EOR methods Reserves and resource estimation Reservoir simulation approaches, model construction and well, aquifer and fluid modelling Development planning Uncertainty handling and scenario methods Depending on the background and requirements of the participants, some topics may be given more emphasis.   Training Objectives In this VILT course, reservoir engineering methods will be addressed which are of use in the daily reservoir engineering practice. By attending this VILT course, participants will have a deeper knowledge of modern reservoir engineering practices for reservoir development and production, including the construction and use of reservoir models. Target Audience The VILT course is intended for experienced reservoir engineers with prior technical or engineering exposure to production activities.
