⭐ This is a 10-week babysigning course for toddlers (13-24months) and their parents/carers. Baby signing can benefit ANY family with a baby or toddler. Clear communication can especially reduce frustrations for families with toddlers, helping you avoid some of the toddler turbulence🌪️ before it begins.
Suitable for Yoga teachers and Yoga students wishing to gain a deeper understanding. Take time for yourself this Autumn. Unwind, restore and connect to your deeper self in the cosy studio of the Printworks in Tavistock high street. This will be a personal exploration experience of learning what is going on for you, messages from the body, and how you can bring more balance into your life. Deeply nurturing and restorative, recalibrating the nervous system. Complete time for you. We will move through restorative and Yin asanas, and take our time to release old deep tensions in the body. To let go of what no longer serves us and feel restored, ready for the Spring energy ahead. Please bring your yoga mat, warm clothing, a blanket, a pillow or two and if you have one, a bolster. About your tutor: Gemma Williams, your Yoga tutor, has been teaching yoga since 2009. She has travelled worldwide to learn from different yoga backgrounds. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an Experienced advanced teacher (E-RYT 500) and as a Yoga alliance continuing education provider (YACEP).
This lovely gentle introduction to baby signing uses songs, rhymes and gentle games to help you build the framework for good communication with your baby; good eye contact, gestures and body language, facial expressions and more. Over the course you'll learn some basic signs to begin using at home as well as some songs and activities to try with your baby throughout the week.
Join us for our Friday Night Dine In - Korean Menu This hands on workshop led by our exprienced cookery chef, Nicola Becci will give you the skills and knowledge to cook 6 different Korean You will make Gim Gyeranmari(Rolled Seaweed Omelette), Pajeon (Korean Spring Onion Pancake), Sigeumchi Namul (Korean Marinated Spinach Banchan) Kongnamul Muchim (Korean Bean Sprout Banchan) Chamchi-kimchi-jjigae (Kimchi stew with tofu) Tofu with Seaweed and Soy and some extra sauces/dips. We'll enhance the evening with some history and cultural knowledge including Korean dining etiquette. The meals are based on a vegetarian diet which can be adapted at home and do contain allergens (soy and sesame). For P7 & S1-S2 POGGLE AND ME: (Barrowland Ballet) was created with and for pupils with complex needs such as autism and invites audiences to join Poggle, a friendly creature, on a sensory and interactive adventure through the forest.
