Equipment used - Lorry mounted cranes and Hook attachments. Who Would Do This Training? Anyone who operates or intends to be operating lorry mounted cranes (sometimes referred to as HIAB’s) should undertake training as is required by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998. This course is made to suit novice operators, and are designed to ensure the efficient and safe operation of equipment. HIAB is really a brand name and the correct term for the equipment is ‘lorry mounted crane’ or ‘lorry loader crane’ (when mounted to a commercial vehicle). Other manufacturers of these types of cranes include Atlas, Cormach, Fassi, HMF, Hyva, Palfinger, Penny Hydraulics and PM. Which Industries Train with ALLMI? An axe making course is a fantastic way to learn about an ancient craft and create a tool that will last a lifetime. Over this two day course you will learn the basics of forging as well as the more advanced techniques of punching and drifting the axes eye as well as isolating mass and steel movement. Once the axe is forged as close as possible to shape we will heat treat and talk about the science and workings of why we do this and then its over to the belt grinders to refine a final edge, the last step is to shape the handle and fit it to your axe! Courses are £320 Per person per two days. All courses must be paid for a minimum of 14 days in advance to secure the date. I run a strict cancellation policy. This course is available to those who have already completed a dry needling foundation course and wish to add acupuncture for pain relief to their toolbox. Only acupuncture points and clinical reasoning will be taught mostly within a western framework, but traditional Chinese medicine will be explained as well. This could also be beneficial to someone who wishes to return to using acupuncture, but has not practiced for some time. To successfully complete this course there will be a short practical test and a 2000 word case study to ensure that a sufficient level of competancy and understanding has been achieved to safely practice acupuncture. Using imprinted details into the clay you will create your own serving board, perfect for charcuterie, cheese or your favourite nibbles. Along side a matching tapas bowl to add extra treats! This will be a lovely relaxed workshop, perfectly suited for beginner potters. Your tutor will guide you through step by step to create your beautiful pieces. There will be a choice of imprinting tools and materials to personalise your piece. Finally you will have a choice of four glaze colours the tutor will complete your work after the bisque firing. Pieces will be ready to collect 3/4 weeks after the workshop.
