Immerse Training is a fully regulated First Aid Training Provider. We love working in schools, nurseries and youth groups teaching young people how to keep each other safe and what to do if something goes wrong. With sessions sessions from 1 hour tasters for every class in a school, to after school first aid clubs, Immerse Training are certain to design a programme that’s right for you, your budget and your children.   We currently deliver First Aid and Life-Saving skills across a variety of settings to groups of children and young people from 4 to 14 years old, when they are able to participate in accredited First Aid courses. All of our First Aid Training for Children courses are designed in collaboration with qualified childcare practitioners and child health clinicians. Our programmes can be tailored to meet any area of the curriculum from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 3. First Aid Training for Children is a great way to prepare young people for specific activities such as Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, babysitting and sports leadership. First Aid Courses For Young People Programmes and sessions for young people focusing on how to keep each other safe and what to do if something goes wrong. Sessions are designed with age and national curriculum in mind, from 1 hour tasters to sessions for large groups, perfect as part of NCS and Duke of Edinburgh programmes. Our training for young people is fun, engaging and focuses on fundamental life saving skills.  All courses can be delivered at our training centre in Poole, Dorset or we can deliver on-site across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset, Hampshire and the South of England.

Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Certificate is a RQF qualification & this course play a major role by working with pupils & supporting teachers. This course has been designed to teach the knowledge required to be a teaching assistant and support children’s learning from birth to nineteen years. The course covers various requirements needed to work as an assistant within schools and how to approach a career in the education sector.  ABOUT THIS COURSE: Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning is a knowledge only qualification. Experience in the real work environment is not required and the entire course is completed online. Please note that this is a knowledge only Level 3 qualification and does not require any practical assessments. COURSE ASSESSMENT: To pass this course learners must pass 4 assignments. Outdoor fitness class which is baby friendly. Suitable from 6-12 weeks postpartum following the all clear from your GP to exercise. We do cardio (no/low/high impact options), bodyweight & resistance exercises. We also focused on core & pelvic floor restoration. We welcome all fitness levels, there are variations to all exercises to suit different Postnatal needs and goals. We are a friendly, supportive & non-judgemental space. Your mental wellbeing is just as important to us as your physical health. Classes are small and in the fresh air for that extra wellness boost, the babies seem to love being outdoors too.  Classes are also a sociable place to chat and support each other. A lot of people head for lunch or coffee or stay for a picnic in the park after.

Would you love to learn how to make beautiful quilts and home decor but weren't sure where to start? Can you sew a straight stitch on a sewing machine? If the answer is 'yes' to any of the above, then this beginner workshop is for you! In this beginner-friendly sewing workshop, you'll learn from a how to use the sewing machine to create your own Patchwork Quilted Cushion You will sew 5-inch squares together to form a pieced cushion front in a layout of your choosing. You will learn how to piece (baste) the 3 layers together, patchwork top, wadding layer and backing, then quilt all three layers together to make your cushion front. You will finish by making an envelope-style back to complete your cushion Don't worry if you've never tried quilting or patchwork before, as you'll have all the help and support you need , along with plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep you going. You'll leave the class with your gorgeous cushion cover, along with all the skills you've learned during this fun and friendly sewing workshop. All materials and equipment will be provided and you will go home with a finished 42x42cm patchwork and quilted cushion. A 42x42cm cushion insert will be needed for your finished cover. You can bring this with you to the class if you wish.  Plenty of tea and coffee will be served throughout the workshop along with freshly baked cake. We won't have a formal lunch break but please feel free to bring a packed lunch which you can keep in our fridge

WET FELTING WORKSHOP - make a piece of felted fabric H1, Hill of Rubislaw, Aberdeen Suitable for adults and children aged 9+ (children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult). Learn the traditional method of felt making. Using wool, soap, water and friction, we will turn the wool into a piece of felted fabric. This is very much an experimental class, laying down different fibres and textures, having fun and letting your imagination go wild. You will make either an abstract, a decorative textured piece or try creating a picture. After the class, the felted fabric could then be made into all manner of things. I will have samples with me to give you some ideas. Price includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments. Pole jams run at the same time that another class is running at the other end of the studio.  Class/course members receive priority over poles (due to paying a higher rate) so you may be required to share a pole with another jammer if we are busy, however most of the time you should have a pole to yourself.
