Medication Awareness training is essential in the Health and Social Care Sector. This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge required to support the use of medication in Health and Social Care settings. It provides information on the different types, classifications and forms of medication, as well as providing guidance on safe storage and disposal.

This course provides detailed safeguarding adults & children awareness, including essential knowledge in the recognition and reporting of abuse and neglect, procedures and responsibilities. This is for all workforce involved in Social Care from the health, public, independent, or voluntary sectors. This subject forms standard 10 & 11 in The Care Certificate.

This medication training course covers a wide range of topics relating to the safe handling and administration of medication within the health and social care industry, such as The Medicines Act and controlled drug schedules. The course covers the requirements set out in The Care Certificate, in NICE guidelines, and by the Care Quality Commission. This practical medication administration course includes competency sign-off.

Explore the key features of Falls Awareness including common causes of falls in care & work environment including risk assessing for slips, trips and falls and being aware issues arising from medications and illnesses that can increase risk of falls.

The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the minimum knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. Developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health. The Care Certificate is made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are 'new to care' and should form part of a robust induction programme. At 3CP training, we have redesigned the theory aspects from all 15 standards and developed these into a three-day affordable intensive course, leaving the manager, once completed, to use the rest of the thirteen-week recommended induction period to be spent on Competency checks of the worker and subsequent completion of the Care Certificate. To ensure compliance, this course has been approved by our local health authority and has been successfully rolled out for many years.

This training offers vital support for social care providers, so they comply with the Mental Capacity Act and Care Quality Commission requirements and promote human rights.

Trauma Informed Practice in Education is a research evidence based whole school systems approach that starts with you. Improved attendance, improved learning outcomes, reduced suspensions and exclusions and better staff recruitment, retention and wellbeing all begin from a place of understanding child development, the impact of adversity on child development and the role of us as educators in supporting opportunities for growth and resilience. Systems change takes teamwork, however the most important member of that team is you. On this Trauma Informed Practice Day you will learn the why and how to keep you well and resourced in order to support the emotional and academic progress of the children in your school. You may already have some knowledge or you may be coming as a complete novice. Either and anything in between is fine. Numbers are limited to keep the group small for the benefit of more enriched learning. Course Details Aims This mental health awareness training course is a mandatory requirement for working within health and social care. The course forms standard 9 of The Care Certificate.
