Based from our fully equipped centre on the waterfront at New Brighton, you can commence your training with the basic RYA Level 1 powerboat course progressing on through the RYA powerboat scheme, RYA Level 2 Powerboat, RYA Intermediate Powerboat, RYA Advanced Powerboat, picking up on the way, if required, any of the following shorebased courses. Marine VHF Radio/SRC, RYA First Aid, Diesel Engine maintenance, Day Skipper Theory and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory. At the tender age of 3 years old, Shanade attended weekly gymnastics classes in Nottingham. Taking a greater interest in dance, by the age of 5, Shanade began training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Acrobatics. As she grew older she spent more and more time growing her passion in dance - through hours after school in dance classes and rehearsals that would prepare her for the years of exams, showcases and competitions to come. At 18, after realising she wanted to pursue a career in dance, Shanade moved to London to gain enhanced training in commercial and hip hop dance styles. On completion of a year of training in London, she then moved to De Montfort University and successfully gained a 1st Class degree in Dance. Whilst completing her degree, Shanade began teaching dance finding a greater passion in passing on her own knowledge gained through her years of experience! Today as she begins her new venture in starting her own dance company, ADIA Dance Studios, she aims to inspire individuals to discover their own love for dance as she was able to.

At the heart of education and innovation The Cardiac Diagnostics Education Centre is based within the North West Heart Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital which forms part of the wider Manchester Heart Institute of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As an IQIPS Cardiac Physiology and BSE accredited department we have many years of experience in running advanced cardiology courses, launching our new portfolio of courses under the ‘Cardiac Diagnostics Education Centre’ name in 2021.   With over 65 staff members at all levels we provide diverse training to support the needs of school leavers, undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as qualified healthcare professionals. Our learners include students, AHPs, nurses, physiologists, registrars, GPs and consultants. Our aim is to deliver the highest quality cardiac education to healthcare professionals to encourage continuous improvement and progression in cardiac knowledge in order to provide the best, most advanced patient care. We are proud to provide the BSc and MSc clinical cardiology teaching for both the Practitioner Training Programme (PTP) and Scientist Training Programme (STP) run by the National School of Healthcare Science on behalf of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). In collaboration with the British Society for Echocardiography (BSE), Health Education England and MMU we also facilitate the 18 month echocardiography training programme (ETP) which includes a Postgraduate certification in Echocardiography and a BSE Level 2 accreditation in transthoracic echocardiography. We are also a selected National Practice Assessment Centre for the BSE. In line with our commitment to education we also host numerous apprentice, PTP, STP and echocardiography students each year throughout their learning and ensure they are incorporated into our wider team to enhance their experience. We also offer work experience for candidates of all ages (school leavers through to career changes) to provide unrivalled access to the crucial work we perform - this helps to raise the profile and showcase the importance of cardiac physiology as a discipline. As an extension to our in-house education we also run external courses for other a wide range of other healthcare providers. The company was set up to bring Archery into the community for anybody and everybody. We want to break through some of the barriers that stop many people from entering into the sport. Archery can be a daunting sport to enter for people who just want to try the sport out. A big financial commitment at the outset can be off-putting. At Northern Archery we want to be different. We offer archery on a pay as you go option as well as the traditional club option paying fees annually. Martin Leonard I have been involved with archery since 2007. Like Ian, I did my beginners course with Kendal Bowmen and have not looked back. I started shooting the recurve bow, but after a short time, I picked up an English Longbow and I was smitten. I have now shot Longbow over 7 years. I own various Longbows but the one I prefer is an Aidy Hayes bow. I am currently part of the Cumbria Archery Association Squad. In 2013 I was part of the Cumbria Longbow Squad that won the Pentangle. Completed Archery GB and 1st for Sport Archery Level 1 coaching in 2012, I Am currently completing Archery GB level 2, I hold an enhanced DBS check and Educare Child Protection Awareness Certificate.
