My Journey understands that people need a person centred service – one that gives you time and treats people with the care and support they need to ensure you get exactly what you need from a community transport organisation. In recent months we have seen communities come together, support each other and show kindness and connection in a way that was unprecedented. This inspired us to develop a service that supports the connection of individuals, community groups and essential services safely and professionally. My Journey is about you and where you want to go. We want you to use our service and feel supported, valued and considered. Most of all we want it to become your organisation that you have a say in the development of. Karl Seymour Founder Karl is one of the founders of Photosymbols with a background in graphic design and photography. He developed an interest in accessible information and communication while working as a carer, and later as an accessible information designer for the NHS in Bristol. Pete Le Grys Founder Pete is the other founder whose specialisms are co-production, involvement and training. Pete has a wealth of experience in the health and social care sector and also worked for the NHS in Bristol where the pioneering work we do first began. Dean Milner-Bell Creative Director New to the team for 2022 is Dean Milner-Bell, who comes to us with many years of experience building the ‘Easy on the I’ symbol set based in Leeds, Yorkshire. We are really excited about what Dean is bringing to the mix as he takes over responsibility for creating new pictures and easy-read templates. Sharon Jones Customer Services Sharon lives in Devon and is the friendly voice on the end of the phone. She keeps the office organised and heads up our customer services and helpline.

I qualified as an infant massage teacher in 2016 and extended my qualifications to deliver yoga, sign and messy craft sessions. I juggle this with being a mother to my daughter. Before taking time off to have my daughter, I worked as a teacher and Head of Department in a Secondary school for almost 9 years within; Health and Social Care and Nutrition, at GCSE and A Level. During the first year of motherhood I was diagnosed with postnatal depression, which was a little bit of a shock. I had no idea about it, had never heard of it, didn't know how I would be treated and helped along and I had hundreds of questions. Eventually once I was able to find the correct support for me, things improved and I felt safe. My whole experience as a first time mum suffering postnatal depression led me down this path. I was keen to help and support other parents and carers, creating fun sessions for all who attend, to support all individually who attend, in all aspects of health. Making individuals feel safe, supported and cared for whilst enjoying fun and engaging sessions. The thing I love about baby massage and yoga, is the way it can help new parents build or enhance that bond with their new born and it is very instant - I can literally see it happen before my eyes, and this is a very special time. I love the way all of our sessions helps both parent or carer and the child. It is so wonderful to see all who attend go one a journey. Giving individuals the skills, the confidence and self-esteem to re-create sessions at home. I hold the Touch Learn International Qualification in Infant Massage, Baby Yoga and Baby Signing and a full and valid first aid certificate as well as a yearly updated DBS
