The course covers investigation and risk assessment of asbestos-contaminated soils and sites, including waste classification and land remediation. It will cover the current HSE and EA legislation and guidance, assessing risk to health from asbestos in soils and how to assess the land, analysis types and interpretation, and remedial actions.

The course covers primary and some secondary skills allowing the flexibility to add extra subjects where needed.

This course will provide the key to successful inventory management, by combining practical inventory control techniques with sound procurement practice, to produce a solid foundation to enable your supply chain to meet customer expectations at the lowest possible cost. PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO: • Understand the role of inventory in an effective supply chain. • Understand categories of stock and how to tailor stockholdings. • Learn how to utilize key concepts, variables and metrics that allow for effective management of inventory. • Understand how product demand and product lifecycle are connected to inventory management. This course looks at the initial alert and the decision-making process in deciding to make a referral, taking into consideration consent and capacity of the alleged vulnerable adult, keeping them at the centre of the decision-making process. How and who to refer to and the different types of response you could expect.

We have developed the non-licensed training to cover work for land remediation contractors working on asbestos-contaminated sites. Including: Interpretation of CAR Regulations to asbestos-contaminated land. This will include 'litter-picking' surface contamination and form contaminated soil. Site segregation, decontamination procedures and air monitoring expectations.

This course provides detailed safeguarding adults & children awareness, including essential knowledge in the recognition and reporting of abuse and neglect, procedures and responsibilities. This is for all workforce involved in Social Care from the health, public, independent, or voluntary sectors. This subject forms standard 10 & 11 in The Care Certificate.
