The Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy builds on your existing knowledge and skills gained from the level 3 Sports Massage course. This qualification will provide learners with a deeper knowledge and further skills to be able treat clients and correct common patterns of dysfunction. Many learners say I wish I had done my level 4 sooner!  Whilst level 3 Sports Massage course gives you the knowledge and skills to start work as a sports massage therapist Level 4 starts to teach you how to really treat your patients / clients. In the modern work environment, managers and leaders must treat all colleagues with respect, including those who are challenging. Understanding the causes of difficult behaviour and being self-aware are crucial for creating a fair and inclusive workplace. This training session equips participants with the knowledge and communication tools to manage and overcome difficult behaviours effectively. This course is available to book for delivery in-house for your organisation and people exclusively, for either a half or full days training workshop. Prices are dependent on size of group ranging from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 12 delegates. If you have a smaller number of delegates the Puritas 1:1 Leadership Coaching Programme is recommended.

Teaching you how to treat your child should the worst occur Children can be present, though parents will remain responsible for them throughout 2.5 - 3 hr sessions Course Contents: What to do if your child goes unconscious How to check if they are breathing normally or not If they are, how to put them in the recovery position If they are not, how to start CPR and use an AED (defibrillator) What to do if your child were to choke What to do if they were to get burnt How to treat minor injuries (dependent on available time) Past Sessions: Sessions in the past have been paid for by a local charity, enabling parents to access the training for free We're happy to put on sessions for your group, playgroup, charity, or simply for you and your children We're always happy to have little ones come along They can either play around, or join us - they usually prefer to join us and play with the manikins, even trying out CPR! You will, of course, remain fully responsible for them while they are there Accreditation: These sessions are tailored to the needs of parents and are therefore not accredited. PACE was developed by Dr Dan Hughes (a clinical psychologist specialising in childhood trauma) more than 20 years ago as a central part of attachment-focused family therapy. It was created with the aim of supporting adults to build safe, trusting and meaningful relationships with children and young people who have experienced trauma. The approach focuses on building trusting relationships, emotional connections, containment of emotions and a sense of security.  PACE is a way of thinking, feeling, communicating and behaving that aims to make the child feel safe. Its four principles of communication – Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy – facilitate the building of healthy, secure attachments between caregiver and child. PACE parenting is especially effective for supporting children that lack secure emotional bases. It is ideal for anyone working or living with children, especially those children in the care system Who is this course for? Anyone working with or living with children and young people. Like foster carers, adopting parents, residential carers, social workers but would also benefit parents experiencing difficulties. What will it cost?
