Sound Gallery studios are proud to host once again music industry advice seminars led by Integrity Records Record label owner one of the U.K.’s longest running truly independent record labels and known for finding & nurturing cool new talent.  Find out how to pitch your music to music industry professionals, how to build and sustain a career as a professional musician, how to set up your own record label, how to protect your creation including copyright and music publishing, how to get airplay and more from Integrity Records CEO and founder Nick Tarbitt.  Nick has many years experience as a media & entertainment lawyer, advising musicians, management companies and record labels on contractual issues, but with a particular interest in assisting new artists, musicians and performers with their early steps in the industry, including their first band agreements, management contracts, recording deals, licensing and publishing agreements. Integrity Records releases, spanning various genres from punk to drum & bass via indie-folk and quirky pop, have been heard on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, alongside XFM/Radio X, Q Radio, Amazing Radio and numerous regional stations in the UK and abroad. Our Cosmeti-Craft Workshops are a great way of learning a new skill and having some fun making your own cosmetics. Children from age 5 upwards can have fun learning about colours and smells while older children experience a more detailed tutorial on the uses and effects of cosmetic ingredients.

You will have your very own solid jewellers workbench to work on to complete your projects and your own tool kit meaning you won’t have to wait for tools. Your bench is also equipped with its own pendant motor. In the workshop you will also find soldering equipment on each bench, a wide range of professional stone setting tools for various stone setting styles, a wide range of hand tools, texturing tools, a rolling mill, a hydraulic press, polishing equipment, dapping tools and punches, all of which will allow you the chance to create your designs within a professional setting. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: You must be enrolled on our term time class or summer term or have experience. CLASS SIZE: 7 WHAT IS INCLUDED? All tools and consumables are supplied Please bring refreshments The cost of this course does not include materials. WHAT TO BRING: For safety reasons, during each class, you are required to wear appropriate footwear, we request that no open toed shoes are worn within Workshop 925. Long hair should also be tied back when working with the equipment. You may also wish to bring a notebook. We have handouts for many demonstrations, but there are always many tips and tricks given verbally by the tutor, which some might like to keep note of. Please bring any PPE, snacks and drinks to each session. We regret we can’t offer tea and coffee at the moment due to Coronavirus.
