Each session will be 90 minutes long In our Mummy Morning it will be very easy going with an option to take part in gentle core exercises to slowly strengthen our core and pelvic floors which is vital after birth, but not only that, we work on the whole of our bodies. Our bodies go through so much from carrying our little ones but the process during and after impacts our precious bodies, so we need to look after them. Mind, body and soul :)
Welcome to my class! My name is Liz and I teach a gentle and mindful yoga class, open to all. My aim is to help you unwind in the evening and reconnect with your body and inner alignment. The class will be varied and include some slower paced flows (options always available to suit your practice/body), some meditative aspects, and some longer held yin and restorative poses. This is a practice meant for you, so I welcome any feedback/suggestions at the end of my classes with the aim of tailoring my teaching for the greatest benefit of the community. A bit about me: I have been participating in mindful movement for my entire life including experience in classical ballet, partner dance styles, and yoga. My teacher training was completed under a Zen Monk (Daizan Skinner) so I am greatly influenced by these traditions in my teaching. I feel a huge sense of excitement to be sharing this practice so that more people can experience the joy of connecting deeply with themselves, and with life. Outside of yoga, I love nature, music, and crafty activities! I use a tiered pricing system ranging from 5-9 pounds a class Please use whichever option is most appropriate for your unique situation. Youth Club Bowling Trip – Ashford Bowling Join us for a fun, social morning of bowling with Includes Us 2 Youth Club! 📍Ashford Bowling Alley 🕙 Starts at 11:30am – approx. finish 13:30pm 💷 £10 per person (includes two games of bowling) After bowling, there’s the optional chance to stay for something to eat. We’ll support young people in ordering food if they wish, but please note this is not included in the price. Volunteer support will be limited, so this event is best suited to young people who are able to attend independently. This is a relaxed social activity, not a structured youth work session. Parents/carers are welcome to stay if they prefer or feel their young person may need extra support – this is entirely optional. Open to Youth Club members only. Booking is essential.
Reclaiming Regulation is a series of individual, in-= person workshops for women who are seeking to explore nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and embodied wellbeing. These 90 minute workshops offer accessible, practical tools to support emotional balance, reduce overwhelm, manage nervous system regulation and develop a deeper connection with the body. Each session is a stand alone experience that blends nervous system theory with somatic practices, breathwork, and grounding practices. The workshops are inclusive, trauma informed, and accessible to all levels, including complete beginners.
