Every Thursday at 19:30 – 21:00 Beginners are welcome to try the class, however, we believe that this class is more suited to anyone with 2 years of dance experience / people with a background in ballet or other dance styles. If you would like to get fit and supple while having fun and deepening your understanding of classical ballet techniques, then this is the class for you. Exercises are set by the teacher, not following set graded syllabus work. Students are welcome and encouraged to take part in performances such as Showcases and Productions if they wish to do so. Every Saturday at 9:20 – 10:00 or 11:15 – 11:55 Drum kit playing has developed much over the years. At M&L Music School we equip our drummers with the necessary skills to play traditional and/or contemporary drum kit playing, teaching good technique from the beginning. We accommodate both beginners to advanced and we can offer Trinity Guildhall and Rock School grades depending on the level of playing and preferred style of Music. Our classes consist of stick technique, foot technique, coordination, rhythm imitations, tempo exercises, drum kit beats, sight-reading, fills, improvisation, and drum kit pieces. Every Wednesday at 18:15 – 18:55 The violin is a versatile and expressive instrument, perfect for players of all ages. At M&L School of Performing Arts, we equip our beginner violinists with essential techniques to play a range of styles, from classical to contemporary. Whether you’re new to the violin or have some experience, we offer a supportive and structured learning environment. Our group violin lessons foster skill development and a love for music. The lessons focus on bowing technique, finger positioning, reading music, rhythm exercises, and playing both solo and ensemble pieces. At M&L Music School we equip our piano players with all the necessary skills to play different styles of music using good technique. From beginners to grade 8 level (grade 5 is a level that would be enough to gain an A in a GCSE solo instrumental assessment). Piano Group Lessons are an encouraging and challenging environment that can be highly motivational. Learning and playing the piano in a group allows students to practice and perform in front of other people while building confidence. Our piano classes consist of learning pieces using notated music and by ear; scales; sight-reading; aural and technique exercises. We can prepare students to take Trinity guildhall grades, ABRSM, and Rock School piano or keyboard exams as well as performances. For New Mums And Their Children Improve Wellbeing We offer time to discover what you and your child enjoy. We explore mindfulness and grounding exercises for mums/carers and babies. Enjoy The Fresh Air A cosy campfire, campfire treats, play, crafts and walks in the woods are very much part of these sessions and make the most of being outdoors. Story telling and singing, seasonal crafts and getting hands on in the mud kitchen give your child lots of options for fun in the fresh air. Build Connections Building connections with your babies and other mums is a very natural progression as you have time to relax and enjoy each others company. Supporting All New Mamas Wednesdays 11am - 1pm (term time) Mamas in nature supports new Mums and their babies. This safe, supportive space can bring everybody positivity, connection and joy. The feed back from Mums is really positive with members feeling more relaxed, supported and calmer. Mama’s in Nature is partly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and is only £3 per carer per session. Access to these sessions is for existing attendees or via social prescribing. What you might need We are outside all year round so warm and waterproof clothes (for you and for baby) will help you enjoy the sessions. We have a range of outdoor clothing, slings etc which can be borrow for the sessions at no charge, so don’t worry if you don’t have all you need. If you have a sling or pushchair suitable for woodland walks and a change of clothes for baby, as they may get muddy and wet, bring them along. We also have use of an indoor space where needed. 

Our programme for toddlers is aimed at teaching your child water confidence, key lifesaving skills, a life long love of the water and building the first steps towards swimming unaided. In our sessions your child will benefit from increasing strength, coordination and exercises focused in progression and enjoyment at every lesson. We use songs and games to ensure your little one loves the time you spend together in the pool. We put emphasis on having lots of fun.

This 3 Days programme will equip you to use, price, manage and evaluate interest rate and cross-currency derivatives. The course starts with the building blocks of money markets and futures, through yield curve building to interest-rate and cross-currency swaps, and applications. The approach is hands-on and learning is enhanced through many practical exercises covering hedging, valuation, and risk management. This course also includes sections on XVA, documentation and settlement. The programme includes extensive practical exercises using Excel spreadsheets for valuation and risk-management, which participants can take away for immediate implementation.

Confined Space Risk Management and Permits - This course includes a basic level of confined space knowledge with the opportunity to use confined space equipment in a simulated environment and a team exercise of creating and reviewing a safe system of work. Note: A pre-requisite qualification is required to complete this course. Day 1 is a CS1 course and the Confined Space Risk Management (CSRM) can be completed as a 1 Day add-on. Any of following courses can be completed as a pre-requisite within 12 weeks of the CSRM; CS1, CS2, 6160-09.
