This level 3 award first aid at work training course helps you comply to first aid training requirements. We are based in Crawley West Sussex but will head anywhere in the UK fo a group of upto 12 people.

Did you know that there were 158 fatal injuries to workers in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sector in the last 5 years?  The QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.  Successful learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding.  Designed to accompany a regulated First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, this nationally recognised qualification has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.

whether you're working in a high-risk industry or just want to feel confident in case of an emergency, this course is perfect for you. This qualification is valid for 3 years although HSE guidelines state that employers should ensure their first aiders remain competent to perform their role. As such, it is strongly recommended that first aiders undertake annual refresher training to practise their skills and update their knowledge on the latest first aid procedures. The Emergency First Aid At Work course covers worst case scenarios and some of the more common minor injuries. It is aimed at those working in lower risk areas such as offices and shops. You will need to attend a full 7 hours of trining (breaks included) First Aid Training at Splat is relaxed and enjoyable. We aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple-choice assessments but our job is to ensure you have everything you need to pass these easily. Please note that First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery Position. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in, and, if possible, please let us know ahead of time if there is anything we can do to help support you and your enjoyment of the day.
