This First Aid at Work training meets the statutory needs of employers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland needing at least one First Aider on the premises. By undertaking one of our first aid at work courses or CPR and AED sessions, you can be confident that you or your employee has undertaken a programme which meets the statutory needs of employers.

This qualification is suitable for those aged 16 and above who work with, or care for, children.

You have 2 options here: Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) is a 1 day course designed to prepere you for worst case scenarios with children and babies. 1 day face to face 9am untill 4pm Paediatric First Aid Blended (PFAB) is a 2 day course covering everything from EPFA above and adding on a range of additional conditions and injuries you may need to deal with when caring for children. 2 days, 1 online in your own time and 1 classroom day 9am to 5.15 pm First Aid Training is a relaxed and enjoyable day, assessment will not be stressful, we aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple choice assessments for First Aid qualifications. First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and recovery position.

The 3-hour Baby & Child First Aid class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness and will give everyone who attends the peace of mind they deserve.

A nationally recognised regulated qualification for low risk organisations to satisfy the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Paediatric First Aid Paediatric First Aid at Work Two Day Course Cost:  £125 + vat per person This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of paediatric first-aid situations. This two-day qualification fulfils the requirements for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.  SYLLABUS A range of subjects is covered, including: Role of the Paediatric First Aider Primary survey Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED) Wounds, bleeding and shock Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis Head, neck and back injuries Seizure Choking Minor injuries Recovery position Fractures Foreign bodies Diabetic emergencies Asthma Meningitis Febrile convulsions Extreme cold and heat Electrical incidents Maximum of 12 People Students must be a minimum of 16 years of age to qualify. Numbers A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course. CERTIFICATION The qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner will need to complete the full course again to re-qualify for a further three years. This Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) Level 3 Award qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. This Level 3 Award (EFAW) course is fully accredited and is statutory qualification specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.

Our First Aid At Work Requalification Course is intended for anybody who has previously completed a First Aid At Work Course and whose certification is about to expire. This training will refresh your understanding of first aid, whilst also giving you the confidence to respond appropriately in an emergency situation.
