On completion of this course and associated assessment, learners will have knowledge of emergency lighting systems and be able to install, test and maintain systems using the prescribed methods. Learners will also be able to assess and report on existing emergency lighting systems.

Who should attend?

In this relaxed and gently paced workshop, Jacky from Mossy Mosaic will show you how to safely cut old china using wheeled nippers and how to grout your mosaic to create a hanging decoration. No previous experience is needed &ndash; but those who have attended the introductory workshop and who are familiar with cutting techniques may have time to produce a second (un-grouted) piece.During this 3 hour session you will also be treated to afternoon tea when we can sit and chat about mosaic making &ndash; or anything else you fancy!You will be provided with all the materials needed, including a variety of bases such as hearts and flowers, to create your mosaic. Demonstration of the IR vein detector for assisting in detection of difficult veins.

Detecting suitable veins in the back of the hand.
6 - POC testing:
Point of Care Testing - use of glucose meter to demonstrate a typical POC test procedure. Correct use and overview of other POC test devices.
7 - Using lancets (finger collection)
We look at the correct use of lancets for POC testing and whole blood micro-collection.

We look at the correct use of lancets for neonatal blood spot tests (Guthrie Test).

As exporters and Importers, we should be encouraged to trade with countries which we have preferential trading agreements with.
