Your puppy training journey can begin before you even bring your puppy home. By ensuring you have the basics covered such as puppy crate training and puppy toilet training, you can start your journey off with your puppy in the best possible way. Focusing on you and your puppy outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 puppy training session, can be really useful for you and your puppy. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a puppy a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situations such good puppy manners when guests come to our house. 1-2-1 puppy training sessions are typically 1 hour. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your puppy goals. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 puppy training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. Pre-arrival session= £30 (half hour) (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Above prices are based on Dog Training being in and around Bishop's Stortford (IE Sawbridgeworth, Much Hadham, Little Hallingbury, Harlow, Puckeridge, Standon, Manudon), I am happy to travel, subject to agreed travel costs.
The one day National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Proficiency Award will re-qualify the learner with the knowledge and skills required in order to provide professional patrolling and water services, in surf conditions, with rescue skills and advanced fitness requirements. Aspects of the course are physically demanding and will include running, swimming to set times and some lifting. The Award is comprised of a variety of units and all must be successfully passed to attain the qualification. There is a minimum of 20 hours learning required for this course is. As this is not achievable within the one day period it is prior learning and continual professional development will be assessed before being able to sign on to the course. As well as this CPD a certain amount of pre course learning will need to take place before the course commences.

Join artist Julie Galante for this in-person workshop, where we’ll take inspiration from the historic city of Edinburgh. Participants of all experience levels are welcome for this friendly, small-group experience. We’ll start with some guided warm-up sketches before moving on to drawing exercises focused on composition, tone, and observation. By the end of the workshop you’ll feel more confident drawing your surroundings, no matter your previous drawing experience. Please come dressed for the weather, ready to spend two hours outside. You may also want to bring along a folding stool or a rug to sit on while you draw (there will likely be benches available, but this is unpredictable). Participants will also need to bring along some basic art supplies: A sketchbook and/or some drawing paper and board (A4 or larger recommended) Various drawing pens and pencils Charcoal or graphite sticks An eraser Any other favourite art supplies that you may like to use I'll also have some supplies to hand for you to borrow or purchase (please let me know in advance if there's something in particular you need).
