croatian supplementary school london
London
The Croatian Supplementary School was established in 1996. Our first students
came mainly from refugee families who moved from Croatia and Bosnia and
Herzegovina to the UK during the war in the early 1990s. Since then the School
has been supported by the Croatian Ministry of Education, and the lessons have
been held on Saturday mornings at the Croatian Embassy in central London. We
offer classes to children from 4-14 years of age who work in two groups
according to their age. A number of our pupils come from bi/multilingual
families, primarily British-Croatian, and we are glad that we even have children
from third generation families.
