To better equip care organisations and their amazing, hardworking staff in this fight, we offer the Essentials of Sepsis Recognition & Escalation For Care & Support Staff course. This face to face training course delivered by experienced healthcare professionals arms care and support staff with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to identify individuals at risk of sepsis, recognise its early signs, and escalate care effectively when they suspect sepsis. With our CQC compliant course, you'll be better prepared to help those at risk. Learners will receive an NR Medical Training/UK Sepsis Trust certificate which is valid for 1 year and a summary of elements covered throughout the course.

Care/Support planning will cover a range of topics including assessments, record keeping and managing information. Everyone shares responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, irrespective of individual roles. This course is for those who have already completed a Level 1 course and need to gain an advanced knowledge of Child Protection, including working towards becoming a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), manager or policy writer. This course is designed for individuals who work with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity. It relates to the issues surrounding safeguarding children by exploring the concepts of "child vulnerability", "child protection" and "significant harm"; coupled with the individual and organisational responsibilities of protecting children from abuse.

The Moving &Handling Course is a full day course to ensure that care workers are competent and confident to carry out their duties to the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) when Moving & Handling People. The course is a mixture of theory and practical elements, using various forms of equipment used in the community. Training Aim: To equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively move and handle individuals, minimising the risk of injury to both the care giver and the person being moved, whilst promoting dignity and comfort for the individual. Learning Outcomes: By the end of the session, learners will be able to: Discuss the legal responsibilities, procedures and duty of care when moving and handling individuals Demonstrate abilities when using equipment in line with individual handling plans Explain and understand biomechanical principles Discuss and demonstrate safer moving and handling principles and techniques Identify and demonstrate the safe use of moving and handling equipment Demonstrate abilities to risk assess and carry out POSRA Recognise unsafe practice and the implementing of safer practices Instructions Please can learners ensure they wear trousers and a full shoe.
