The Ethical Education Enterprise CIC was established to provide high quality and meaningful training to people in the local communities of the Greater Manchester area. Here at Ethical Education, we pride ourselves on creating a learning environment that offers each student an individual pathway. Working with local organisations, we support staff to develop their skills through accredited qualifications and bespoke training which, in turn, enhances local sustainability. We are currently working with young people aged 14yrs + to provide additional support alongside school, focusing on their individual attributes and interests. We also work with adults who are looking to progress in work or with barriers to work. Experience has shown us that, in reality, most people simply want meaningful work in their lives and equally meaningful social relations that come as part of being included in the wider working world. We believe that an intrinsic, if not critical part of helping people to achieve their aims is to develop productive relationships with all like-minded organisations such as third sector partners, education providers, support organisations, social housing providers and employers. We therefore can develop positive transitional pathways to ensure our learners are trained to a level which enables them to confidently progress or enter into productive, meaningful and sustainable employment. Taking a person-centred approach, we aspire to produce positive outcomes for all individuals we work with, but also for employers and society, as we believe each are mutually complimentary and achievable given the right approach.

Learning to Work is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status; set up to facilitate links between education and the world of work. Business engagement is at the heart of everything we do and is what sets our activities apart when it comes to giving young people an insight into the world of work and what employers will expect of them when they enter the workplace. Our brilliant business volunteers bring all of our activities to life with their expertise and enthusiasm. We are extremely passionate about the work we do and the impact we have on the lives of young people. Learning to Work achieved matrix Standard accreditation in 2014 and 2017 recognises our information, advice and guidance services and accredits our capability to support our schools with their responsibility for careers education. Each year we work with over 18,000 young people on a variety of different activities including; Work Experience, Careers Guidance, Work Ready Activities, Business Insight Days, Careers & Apprenticeship Events, Enterprise Activities, Inter-school Competitions, STEAM as well as support for Specials Needs and students struggling with mainstream education. Several local Education Business Partnerships were formed in 1993 as part of the government initiative to improve employer engagement in local schools. In 2007 EBEBP (East Berkshire EBP) was formed as an amalgamation of three of these local organisations. Following several changes to government funding and the education landscape EBeBP become Learning to Work in 2012.

This course is designed to enhance the speaking and conversational skills of adult learners in English. Through a combination of interactive activities, discussions, and real-life scenarios, participants will develop the confidence and fluency needed to engage in various social and professional situations. Emphasis will be placed on improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, and refining grammar structures to communicate effectively in English.  Course Duration: 10 weeks (20 sessions) Course Objectives: By the end of this course, participants will: 1. Improve their overall speaking fluency and accuracy in English. 2. Enhance their listening skills to understand and respond appropriately in conversations. 3. Expand their vocabulary and idiomatic expressions for effective communication. 4. Develop confidence in speaking English in social and professional settings. 5.
