Quince House Cookery School is owned and run by Katharine Eldridge. Katharine trained at the Tante Marie School of Cookery and having graduated with distinction was asked to teach at the school. She taught and demonstrated at Tante Marie from 1992 until 2002 when her first son was born. During that time she also owned and ran her own catering company.
Welcome to Ashdown Manna, a small independent cookery school, offering inspirational half and full day courses from our converted barn in Blackham, East Sussex, on the edge of the beautiful Ashdown Forest.
We offer a select range of fresh, home-cooked oven-ready meals to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. All meals are prepared using fresh ingredients in the Cookery School Kitchen and are frozen on the day of making. Take a look at our online store to see what we have cooking!
A Taste of the Past is a small, independent catering company that provides cookery courses, talks and demonstrations a small range of sweets and baking and small scale catering for up to around 20 people.
