Learn with Confidence is here to provide a personalised education for students who find learning in a school setting challenging, or those who seek an alternative to traditional schooling. We offer access to fully qualified and experienced teachers across a number of subjects, in an environment that is calm, caring and friendly. Our aim is to empower students to take control of their education at their own pace, whilst offering support and guidance, and encouraging growth in self-belief and confidence. For many of our students, school has been a stressful environment and we always show compassion and encouragement with a holistic view to education. We also offer support to young people who are attending schools and need a helping hand with their school studies through our after-school support service. Our teachers can help build confidence and prepare students for transition to secondary school, with their GCSE’s and A-Levels, or with generic support as they navigate through their school years. MHA The Wilderness is a unique and reformed garden which was first discovered over a 100 years ago. The reclaimed wilderness offers access to a hidden heritage garden in South London with an accessible, engaging and nature conservation programme of activities. The Wilderness garden was first created by Rev William Wilks, Vicar of Shirley and former secretary of the Royal Horticulture Society, between 1904 and 1923: a wild garden that lived up to the house’s name. Over a 100 years later it has been restored by MHA to its former glory and both our residents and visitors couldn’t be happier with the beautiful garden.
