Smart Assessor is an electronic collection of a learner’s skills and knowledge, which is assessed by their Development Coach against a training standard or qualification and replaces paper portfolios. Perfect for apprentices, work based learners, classroom students and anyone undertaking training, as you can replace paper evidence with videos, photos and voice recordings as evidence of competence and the portfolio is always available, both offline and securely on the web. Assessors and Development Coaches can track learner progress dynamically to achieve timely completions. The teaching and learning resources are made up of tutorials, videos, good practice examples, presentations, multimedia activities, activity sheets and reading. Everything you need for your course is in one place and you can upload your work to your online portfolio to be marked by your Development Coach. Your Development Coach will be in contact with you every week and in most cases the contact time with your Development Coach is greater than going to college. It means you have one-to-one learning sessions with your Tutor, rather than having to share your time with a class full of others. Why choose The Childcare Company The Childcare Company is a sister company of Impact Futures. We have extensive experience in running independent day schools and nurseries, and the company Directors opened one of the very first free schools in 2011. The writers of our learning resources frequently write for trade press on education issues and have also advised Government on specific issues. Course content incorporates the EYFS and is updated as necessary in line with any changes. The Childcare Company works closely with large nursery chains, private training providers, local authorities and government funding bodies all over the country.

I’m the creator of Diamond Minds, helping people like you breakthrough your blocks by using imaginative journaling and coaching. I used journaling during the stressful periods in my life – moving countries, moving homes, relationship breakdown. Now I use it for creative thinking, gathering insights, renewing motivation and strengths-finding! I love working with individuals and organisations brimming with ideas, hungry for growth, with creative sparks and love for their work popping from the moment they wake up! And yet, there is something getting in their way. That’s where I come in. I help clients move from block to breakthrough using creative approaches of journaling and coaching. I am creative and enthusiastic – and grounded and practical. In journaling I invoke imagination and play as, often, writing from “I” can be tiring. What is needed to jolt us out of our habitual or negative thinking are creative prompts. I always thought the world didn’t end at the end of my street! Growing up on the tiny island of Guernsey, I felt the pull of the other side, beyond St Peter Port Harbour! And stepping out, I… …..spent about a decade working overseas – Russia mostly, in Moscow and Ekaterinburg. I also lived in the Czech Republic, Japan, Italy, France and Germany. I went on many work trips to Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria for human rights organisations. ……I co-founded and ran a number of companies. Raise Your Game, a social enterprise which supported the young unemployed start their own businesses in London, and coached young students in pupil referral units and youth offending. Even earlier, I co-founded Communicating Cultures which worked in Russia on an ethnic minorities and the media project with partners the BBC Training School in Ekaterinburg and the Interethnic Cooperation Centre which is still going strong!

I work as a wellbeing coach and specialist autism support worker guiding, supporting and empowering the people I work with to live the best lives they can. I aim to be a a catalyst in individuals transformation, ushering souls towards their fullest potential and most authentic and integrated versions of self. I believe that every person has the potential to actualise a life with wellbeing, purpose and deep meaning at the forefront; with the right resources, support and self-belief anything is possible. My Integrative Wellbeing Coaching approach comes from a belief that a holistic approach to wellbeing through combining physical, emotional and spiritual well-being is vital to improved long-term wellbeing. I am a 500hr qualified yoga and meditation instructor, with a passion for spirituality and related practices. I have worked in various settings that inform how I work. My work with the charity S.A.N.E on a mental health helpline and W.I.S.H (women in secure hospitals) gave me a deep understanding of lived experiences of mental health. My time in various community settings both in youth and adult services offering support and wellbeing services, has developed my awareness of the factors from our childhood and youth as well as socio-economic and environmental factors that inform the adults we become. In recent year my interest has been in working with individuals and groups to get deeper into the work of creating transformation in their hearts and lives. My practice is informed by my own journey through mental health challenges and addiction recovery. Its my lived experience that gives me a genuine compassion, directness and approachability. Alongside my wellbeing work I work as a Specialist Autism Support Worker with the National Autistic Society. I am passionate about working with the unique strengths and challenges of neuro-diversity, having pursued a late diagnosis of ASD myself in 2017.
