We bring hoop to your events and parties, whether it be a hen party, or a black tie event. RoRo is a performer and a qualified teacher who has over 10 years teaching practise and a whole load of hoop experience. Originally self-taught, she now teaches at schools, circus schools, and conventions, as well as running weekly classes, and workshops. We travel often and have teachers all over the UK so no gig, workshop or class is too big or too small. We have esteemed performers nationwide who can provide entertainment and workshops for large-scale events with specialisms in hula hoop, fire, LED and aerial. Our School of Circus sessions provide workshop packages and sessions with an attention on being different from the norm, we have circus, dance, and a whole lot more. Many young people do not experience any aspect of circus as prop for performance or as a physical activity and it is our intention to address this whilst offering something different to the conventional norm. As a performer we show case single and multi hoop tricks, blending circus, dance, and a whole load of pizazz. These can be done according to theme, with other performers (hoop or other), or with LED. Party packages (popular for hen & birthday parties) give you the opportunity to learn and see some impressive stuff, where guests can be entertained, whilst learning and having fun. If you are looking for a new hobby, or are wanting to get serious in the world of hoop, you have come to the right place. It’s fitness, it’s circus, it’s dance, and so much more. Moreover, it is something you can practice pretty much anywhere. All you need is a hoop, a sprinkle of determination, and some space. All classes and workshops are taught by trained professionals, in a supportive and structured environment. We can teach online or in person. Our takeaway classes (filmed during teaching in Covid-19) are available for you to purchase, download, and keep. A short history of our North London Branch 2000 to present: Step Teachers are proud to have started out from 'The Shed' at the back of the garden of Mr & Mrs Georgiou's (Marios' parent) house in Southgate, North London. It didn’t take long for Marios, Jim and the team (which included his brother George, sister Angela, best friend from school Andrew, and Jim's brother-in-law Ben (our current Managing Director, Compliance Manager, Sales Director and Finance Director) to outgrow The Shed and move to Ashfield Parade in Southgate Circus, opposite the tube station. Barely 16 months later and the Step family were on the move once more; this time crossing the busy High Road to the rather grange building of The Grange. In April 2007, we went north across Southgate Circus and made our home in South Point House, above Southgate's once iconic Wimpy restaurant. Sadly it's now Paddy Power. After a decade, our tour of Southgate took us to Solar House, directly opposite St Andrew's C of E Primary School.

The Angel Circus At the beginning of 2012, we converted our offices into a Circus so that our surroundings could reflect the personality and innovation that takes place within the company. Why a circus? Because the circus is a place where talented performers train hard and work to entertain and thrill their audience. In the same way, we want to wow people with our software, customer service and support. We love seeing visitors’ faces when they come to meet Team Angel at our circus. There’s a Big Top and gypsy caravan for creative meetings, a grandstand (complete with ball pool) for presentations, a full-wall blackboard for ideas and inspiration, plus fairground mirrors, a popcorn machine and plenty of other circus curiosities for fun. Most of our staff have even learnt to juggle! And really, it’s our staff who reflect the Angel Solutions DNA more than any props ever could. How We Encourage Creativity… Beyond the circus, creativity and innovation is central to how we work. We give staff plenty of opportunities to promote and showcase their talents, whether work-related or not, and place a high value on ongoing learning. Most importantly, we always strive to celebrate effort and creative thinking in our team, just as much as we celebrate their successes. For example, our staff might… Introduce a new work process to try to save time Trial a new technology inside one of our products Teach a skill or share an idea at a lunchtime smorgasbord session Work with a totally different team on an innovation day Run a staff training session to share their knowledge Do an online course to learn something new No matter how busy we are, it’s important to us to carve out precious time like this. We hold Innovation Days every month and encourage as many people as possible to pause what they’re working on to take part. During that time, teams can mix up and people have an opportunity to work on whatever they want! At the show and tell sessions at the end of these days, presentations are always met with the sound of applause and cheering, whether or not they worked out! I have been working with my body since I was a teenager, training in ballet, physical theatre and acrobatics. In 2001 I graduated with a BA (Hons.) in Theatre Practice and Contemporary Circus. Since then, I have toured both with my own company and with different circus companies around the world. All these years of experience has given me a very good understanding of my body, of human anatomy and its mechanics, as well as good proprioceptive and kinaesthetic awareness. However, despite the use of tools such as visualisations or breathing and relaxation techniques for performance purposes, my physical training had mostly been learnt from a Western perspective, which favours an “external” training of the body over a somatic or “internal” understanding.
