Data comms training course description A hands on training course introducing the concepts of data communications, moving on to covering both LAN and WAN technology. Quizzes are used extensively to ensure material has sunk in and to maximise learning time. Hands on sessions ensure that by the end of the course delegates have made cables, built LANS and WANS, configured TCP/IP, switches and routers. What will you learn Use the seven layer model to classify networking buzzwords. Build and troubleshoot Ethernet, LAN/WAN and WiFi networks Explain the difference between switches and routers. Connect networks with routers. Data comms training course details Who will benefit: Anyone who requires a technical introduction to networks. Prerequisites: None. “Filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes” - Robert Altman Our Film Production Course is led by highly experienced videographer and cinematographer Max Jewell-Smith, and award-winning actor and producer Henry Hereford, who has been working in the industry for more than 20 years in the UK, Australia and the US. Henry is a producer with the production company, Fluffy Cat, who have worked on films such as For The Love Of George, To Leslie, and Well Behaved Woman, so he has plenty of unique insight to share with students. With a mix of technical skills, script writing and acting, students on our Film Production course will work together to create a short film that they will showcase on Friday. WHEN AND WHERE? The Film Production Course takes place in Cranleigh Arts Centre, around 20 minutes from Guildford. The venue has a professional theatre, a sprung dance floor for choreography sessions, dressing rooms, and lots of great areas for filming and multimedia activities, so it's the perfect spot for our aspiring performers to learn in. Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July 2023 In2Drama is split into two groups for age related focus 11-15 year olds: 1pm - 4:00pm 16-21 year olds: 9am - 12:00pm
Description As long as I can remember I have always loved cartoons. I really could not put my comics down following the adventures of the characters in the 'Beano', 'The Dandy', 'The Eagle' and the countless American comics I used to buy then swap with my friends. So it was inevitable that as I was quite good at drawing I would copy many of the subjects and even invent my own. I am convinced that my early drawing skills were learnt drawing these wonderful fun characters, it has led me on to where I am today and they will work for you too. Although there are set plans to follow drawing the cartoons shown in these lessons, there are freehand skills to learn. By learning these basic techniques it will greatly improve your overall freehand experience when drawing the more exacting subjects like animals, landscapes and portraits. With each cartoon, you'll get a reference sheet where you can copy the dimensions and replicate what you see with the help of the videos. What you'll learn Have a set of fun cartoons they can be proud of Understand the techniques for drawing freehand cartoons Learn how to use colouring pencils to colour cartoons effectively Apply the techniques learned to create their own cartoons Requirements B or 2B Graphite Pencil Pencil Eraser Paper Ruler (a rolling ruler is ideal) Colouring Pencils (Colin uses Albrecht Durer by Faber-Castell) Pen (Optional, for inking your cartoons - Colin uses a Faber-Castell Pitt Superfine Point Black Pen) George the Dog Cartoon - George 00:27:00 Mitsie the Cat Cartoon - Mitsie 00:22:00 Harry the Hare Cartoon - Harry 00:32:00 Marty Mouse Cartoon - Marty 00:25:00 Max the Cat Cartoon - Max 00:30:00 Silly Bullie Cartoon - Silly Bullie 00:28:00 Patch the Dog Cartoon - Patch 00:24:00 Patch, Max & Marty Cartoon - Patch, Max and Marty 00:46:00 Chipper the Bird Cartoon - Chipper 00:26:00 Benny the Bear Cartoon - Benny 00:30:00 Atlanta the Mermaid Cartoon - Atlanta 00:29:00 Douglas the Turtle Cartoon - Douglas 00:31:00 Colouring Douglas 00:29:00 Fifi Vinegar Jones Cartoon - Fifi Vinegar Jones 00:32:00 Colouring Fifi 00:27:00 Nell the Elephant Nell the Elephant 00:35:00 Colouring Nell 00:24:00 Mick the Monkey Mick the Monkey 00:35:00 Colouring Mick 00:13:00
