This lovely gentle introduction to baby signing uses songs, rhymes and gentle games to help you build the framework for good communication with your baby; good eye contact, gestures and body language, facial expressions and more. Over the course you'll learn some basic signs to begin using at home as well as some songs and activities to try with your baby throughout the week.

Accreditation These sessions will not be accredited. We are happy to create in-house certificates for the youngsters. We can also give the children a Mini Medics book and certificate if you like or prefer - this will incur an additional charge per child.

Have you ever thought of what to do in an emergency to care for a baby or child before medical care arrives? If so, this course is for you!  You will learn basic first aid tips of how to care for your baby or child in an emergency such as choking, resuscitation etc. Who is it for? Parents, grandparents, nannies, carers etc. Limited spaces available!

This is an indepth course covering all aspects of personal care, bathing and hygiene within health and social care.

Our fun and engaging play-based Spanish sessions for children include lots of singing, interactive games and activities and storytelling in Spanish. They are aimed at children aged 2-4 but if your little one is slightly older or younger you are still welcome to join us and see if they like it! They last for 45 minutes, with an extra 15 minutes at the end of the session for children to play and parents/carers to socialise over a cup of tea of coffee. They are delivered by a qualified native Spanish teacher with full GTCS registration and PVG and nearly ten years of experience teaching languages internationally. Come along to one of our trial sessions and see if this is something you and your little one would enjoy! Transformers Themed Activity Day at Derbyshire Hill Family & Community Centre for children and teens aged 7+ Come and join us for an exciting HAF Activity themed around Transformers which includes graffiti art, djing, parkour, obstacle courses and games with our talented team from Powered by Hip Hop (UC Crew) Children aged 7+ and parents/carers/grandparents who are eligible for free HAF activities are all welcome to join us for our FREE funded activity day.
