The Birmingham Chinese School was established in 1987 as a non-profit making,
non-political and non-religious organization providing education in the Chinese
(Cantonese and Putonghua) language and culture to children in and around the
Birmingham area. It is a registered charity and financed mainly from public
donations, subsidies from Birmingham City Council and various fund-raising
activities.
