Hi, I'm David Southgate, a Sheffield Blacksmith My Blacksmithing journey began
in early 2014, with a 3 day course in rural Lincolnshire. I was able to take on
a forge at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, a museum in Sheffield. In late 2015 I
embarked on the well respected "Design and Forgework Skills" course at the
National School of Blacksmithing in Hereford. I passed with distinction in July
2017.
