Successful candidates will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and will be equipped with the vital skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective treatment.

The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) qualification has been designed for anyone who wishes to learn basic life support skills for adults, children and infants. A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Every second matters and this course will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively. Most importantly, the course will also teach defibrillator operators how to perform effective CPR.

This course covers the management of anaphylaxis and the use of auto-injectors for the initial treatment of anaphylaxis.

The course covers primary and some secondary skills allowing the flexibility to add extra subjects where needed.
