45 Barbering courses

This course is a great and exciting journey for those who want to learn – from total beginners to the more experienced. Attend lectures and demonstrations; with daily hands on training learning the Sid Sottung method of hair cutting and styling. You will be provided with up to 10 live models and real human hair mannequins.

Our Intermediate course is designed for Barbers and Hairdressers to further their skill set over an intensive three days of training. Keeping class sizes small, our educators will develop your techniques and introduce new methods to further you in your career with daily lectures, demonstrations and practical hands on sessions on up to 8 live models provided by the Sid Sottung Academy. A bespoke course catered to each student, you will leave with an extended understanding of mens cutting and a refined eye to detail.

Our new 4 week program is designed to develop students over a longer period to develop their skillset, knowledge and learn all things barbershop in a barbershop environment. You will be taken on a journey by our experienced Educators with in-depth lectures and demonstrations. Students will work initially on real hair mannequin heads before transitioning to clients, all provided by the Academy, learning the renowned Sid Sottung method of hair design. Our nurturing educators work to develop each student until services can be performed independently.

12 week Barber Course. NVQ level 2. PABD Diploma. Plus the TB Ultra Diploma. Giving you much more time to practice will increase your confidence and your skills. Practice makes perfect. We’ve listened to feedback and now students can stay with us longer! We’ve added more Afro hair as a special component of this course plus you get more 1 to 1 training during the final 2 weeks of the course to really push yourself. You’ll be able to get more out of our tutors vast knowledge, perfect new techniques and ideas.

Students are taken on a colourful and exciting journey of lectures, demonstrations and hands on training with our experienced educators. Students are provided with human hair mannequin heads before completing hair colouring techniques on live models.

Our two-day Clipper Masterclass is designed to improve clipper work, bring you confidence and create high standard modern short haircuts. Our experienced educators will guide you through lectures, demonstrations and practical hands on sessions on up to 6 live models.
